    摘要: A road debris collection assembly for includes a vehicle that has a storage tank thereon and an engine. A vacuum unit is coupled to the storage tank and the vacuum unit produces vacuum pressure within the storage tank when the vacuum unit is turned on. A pair of shredding units is each coupled to the vehicle and each of the shredding units has an inlet is aligned with a roadway upon which the vehicle is driving. Moreover, each of the shredding units is in fluid communication with the vacuum unit to suctionally collect debris from the roadway. Each of the shredding units has a plurality of blades therein and the blades in each of the shredding units shredding the debris when the shredding units are turned on.

    摘要: A vacuum cleaner is described that includes an elongated vacuum body, an optional battery-pack attached to the bottom end of the elongated vacuum body, and a removable backpack assembly with shoulder and waist straps attachable directly to the elongated vacuum body. The shape of the elongated vacuum body is such that the center of gravity of the body is shifted close to the body of the vacuum appliance user, allowing for greater freedom of movement during use. The vacuum appliance also includes exhaust air vents positioned to reduce the noise output of the vacuum appliance as perceived by the user during use.

    摘要: A pick-up head system comprises a housing and a main fan connected in air suctioning relation to the housing for causing the interior of the housing to have a reduced internal air pressure. A secondary substantially continuously available source of low air pressure has an inlet connected in air suctioning relation to the housing. A valve is operatively mounted between the housing and the inlet of the source of low air pressure. A control mechanism is operatively connected to the valve and responsive to at least one operational condition in the pick-up head system. In a reduced-flow position, the air pressure in the housing is unaffected by the vacuum tank. In the increased-flow position, when the at least one operational condition passes a threshold, the vacuum tank decreases the air pressure in the housing, thus precluding the escape of dust and other fine particulate matter from the interior of the housing.

    摘要: A dust suctioning pick-up head for a sweeping vehicle comprises a shroud defining a fore-aft longitudinal axis, and has a substantially hollow interior, a bottom edge defining a bottom opening, and a forwardly facing debris outlet for permitting the directed egress of debris from the shroud as a forwardly propelled stream of debris. At least one cylindrical main sweeping broom is disposed within the substantially hollow interior of the shroud for engaging a surface to be cleaned through the bottom opening to thereby sweep dust and debris from the surface to be cleaned and propel the dust and debris forwardly through the forwardly facing debris outlet. A dust suctioning nozzle apparatus has a dust receiving mouth in fluid communication with a dust transfer outlet connectable in fluid communication with a source of air suctioning. The dust receiving mouth is in fluid communication with the substantially hollow interior of the shroud so as to suction air therefrom, and is disposed vertically adjacent the bottom edge of the shroud so as to be in dust suctioning relation to the surface being cleaned, and rearwardly of the at least one cylindrical main sweeping broom to thereby permit the suctioning of dust from the surface to be cleaned subsequent to the surface being swept by the at least one cylindrical main sweeping broom.
