    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a handheld garment steamer, including a water tank, an evaporator, a power pump and a nozzle, wherein the water tank is used for storing water; the water tank is arranged below the water tank and is used for heating the water to turn the water into water vapor; the power pump is connected with the water tank and the evaporator and is used for pumping the water in the water tank to the evaporator; the nozzle is arranged above the water tank; and a vent of the nozzle is connected with the evaporator through a steam pipe. In the present disclosure, a center of gravity of the garment steamer is at the bottom, so that the garment steam is not easy to tilt during use, and the operation is more labor-saving.

    Abstract: An appliance for ironing clothes and similar, comprising a body adapted to support a soleplate and fixed to a handgrip; heating means arranged within said body and connectable to an electricity network for the heating of said plate; and means for generating steam connected to a water tank and to said plate to diffuse steam towards the outside via first and second holes arranged on said plate; said body being mounted rotatable around an axis of lateral rotation passing through said handgrip; said axis passing through said handgrip at an anterior portion of the handgrip and being inclined by an angle with respect to said handgrip so as to allow a user of the appliance to move said body and said plate between a first operating position for ironing said clothes in direct contact with said plate, and a second operating position for vertical steam ironing of said clothes also not directly in contact with the clothes; characterized in that in at said second operating position for vertical ironing, said plate is arranged in a position rotated by 180° around said axis with respect to the position assumed by said plate in said first operating position.

The method can comprise reading data from a data bearing element (173) associated with the substrate, communicating the data to a processor (154) associated with a cleaning appliance (10, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, 90, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 161, 200) comprising the source of optical energy, wherein the processor, responsive to the communicated data, controls the cleaning of the substrate with the optical energy. The method can comprise slidingly contacting the substrate with a work surface, said work surface comprising an aperture (83, 117) and emanating optical energy from the aperture for cleaning the substrate. A cleaning appliance can comprise an appliance body (80, 90, 104, 125) comprising an aperture for emanating optical energy for cleaning the substrate and an optical transmission pathway arranged for propagating optical energy received from an optical energy source to said aperture. The appliance can be adapted and constructed for delivering a cleaning agent to the substrate. The appliance can include a processor, a data interface in communication with the processor, and can be configured such that the processor outputs signals that control the cleaning of the substrate, the processor being configured for controlling, responsive to data received by the data interface and via the output signals, the substrate cleaning.     Abstract: The invention relates to domestics appliance system which makes use of a push-fit fluid coupling (1) comprising a fluid feeding portion (2) and a fluid receiving portion (3) adapted to cooperate with each other to enable fluid to flow in a downstream direction (D1) from the fluid feeding portion (2) to the fluid receiving portion (3). The fluid receiving portion (3) comprises an actuator (65) comprising a fluid conduit (67) for fluid to flow from the fluid feeding portion (2) to the fluid receiving portion (3). The fluid feeding portion (2) comprises a housing (4) defining a fluid flow path (5) and comprising an opening (6) in which the actuator (65) is intended to be inserted, a chamber (37) arranged in the housing (4) in which fluid is intended to flow, a valve seat (8) and a valve member (7) engaging the valve seat (8) for closing the fluid flow path (5), a first piston (9) slidably received in the chamber (37) downstream of the valve member (7). The fluid feeding portion (2) and the fluid receiving portion (3) are adapted to cooperate with each other such that when the actuator (65) is inserted in the opening (6), the actuator (65) and the opening (6) cooperate with each other to form a fluid seal preventing fluid in chamber (37) to leak out from the chamber (37), then, when the actuator (65) is further inserted in the opening (6), the actuator (65) is adapted to contact the first piston (9) and to displace the first piston (9) in an upstream direction (D2) until the first piston (9) contacts the valve member (7) and lifts the valve member (7) off the valve seat (8) for opening the fluid flow path (5) and allowing fluid to flow in the downstream direction (D1). This invention prevents leak of fluid between the fluid feeding portion (2) and the fluid receiving portion (3).
