摘要: A process of separating carboxylic acids comprising two steps. The first step is to provide an aqueous solution comprising (i) one or more mono-carboxylic acids, (ii) one or more di-carboxylic acids, and (iii) one or more tri-carboxylic acids. The second step is to pass the aqueous solution through a collection of resin particles, where the resin particles comprise covalently bound quaternary ammonium groups, and wherein the collection of resin particles has uniformity coefficient of 1.5 or less.

摘要: An absorbable periodontal tissue and bone regeneration material uses bacterial cellulose that has been exposed to radiation. The bacterial cellulose was confirmed to block the invasion of soft tissue in a calvarial defect in rat and rabbit models and to display excellent absorptiveness enough to contribute bone formation. Therefore, the bacterial cellulose can be developed as an absorbable periodontal tissue and bone regeneration material useful in the field of medical engineering by regulating biodegradability without using chemicals that are toxic to human and environment.

摘要: A multi-valent vaccine composition is described comprising a conjugate of the capsular polysaccharide of H. influenzae b not adsorbed onto an aluminum adjuvant salt, and two or more further bacterial polysaccharides. A multi-valent vaccine composition is also described comprising a whole-cell pertussis component, tetanus toxoid, diphtheria toxoid, Hepatitis B surface antigen, a conjugate of the capsular polysaccharide of H. influenzae b, and a conjugate of a capsular polysaccharide of N. meningitidis type A or C (or both). Furthermore, a multi-valent vaccine composition is described comprising a whole-cell pertussis component, tetanus toxoid, diphtheria toxoid, and a low dose of a conjugate of the capsular polysaccharide of H. influenzae b.
