摘要: The present application discloses a secondary battery, an apparatus including the secondary battery, artificial graphite and a method for the preparation thereof. The secondary battery includes a negative electrode plate including a negative active material, wherein the negative active material includes an artificial graphite having a numerical particle size Dn10 of at least 1 μm; the artificial graphite has a graphitization degree of 90% to 95%; and the negative electrode plate has an OI value of at most 15, wherein the OI value of the negative electrode plate represents a ratio C004/C110, in which C004 is the peak area of the diffraction peak of 004 crystal plane of the artificial graphite in the negative electrode plate and C110 is the peak area of the diffraction peak of 110 crystal plane of the artificial graphite in the negative electrode plate.

摘要: A combustor includes a combustion pipe, a gas introduction pipe, and an igniter. The gas introduction pipe is connected at one end of the gas introduction pipe to the combustion pipe, and the one end has a gas outlet through which ammonia and oxidized gas flow to the combustion pipe. The gas introduction pipe protrudes toward an inside of the combustion pipe through an insertion hole of the combustion pipe in a tangential direction to an inner peripheral surface of the combustion pipe so that the gas outlet is accommodated in the combustion pipe. The gas introduction pipe has a cross-sectional area that is defined so that mixed gas of the ammonia and the oxidized gas flows to the combustion pipe through the gas outlet at a flow velocity of 3 m/s to 25 m/s relative to a flow rate of the mixed gas.

摘要: A method by which an environmental energy (e.g., wave energy) is harvested, converted into electrical power, and thereafter used to electrolyze seawater into hydrogen and chlorine gases. Those gases are recombined into hydrogen chloride from which is formed hydrochloric acid solution which is diluted and deposited at a depth sufficient to ensure its neutralization and sequestration for a significant period of time (e.g., for over a millennium). By removing chloride ions from a portion of the sea adjacent to its upper surface and depositing them into a portion of the sea more adjacent to its bottom, acidity is shifted from the surface to base of the sea, and the surface ocean is given a greater ability to absorb and buffer atmospheric carbon dioxide without a corresponding increase in acidity.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for continuous, large scale, commercially viable production of nanoforests. A roll-to-roll process passes a flexible substrate, including fibers and fabrics, through a furnace. Precursors are introduced in a growth zone in which a vertical or horizontal nanoforest of nanotubes or nanowires is grown on the substrate. Sensors and actuators with feedback control are provided for parameters such as substrate speed, substrate tension, furnace temperature, precursor flow rate, nanoforest thickness, and nanoforest. The furnace is preferably enclosed for environmental and safety purposes. The feed roll and take-up roll are disposed in housings can be attached to the furnace via airlocks, which enables rapid loading and unloading of the rolls using techniques well known in the industry while maintaining furnace conditions. The furnace can encompass flattening rollers and a second growth zone to enable manufacture of orthogonal nanoforests comprising a vertical nanoforest grown on a horizontal nanoforest.
