摘要: A vehicle and control method include: a seat; an image acquirer to acquire an image of the seat; a first type of roof airbag module in a fixed position in a first area of a headlining; a rail member in a second area of the headlining in a left-right direction of a vehicle body; a second type of roof airbag module in the rail member and movable in left and right directions along the rail member; an angle detector to detect a rotation angle of the seat; and a controller. The controller identifies the seat rotation angle based on the image of the seat and controls activation of at least the first type of roof airbag module or the second type of roof airbag module based on at least the seat rotation angle based on the image of the seat or detected by the angle detector.

摘要: A method for providing accident parameters to a person outside a vehicle after an accident includes ascertaining a first accident parameter that is representative of the severity and/or a consequence severity using a control unit of the vehicle, and determining a display device of the vehicle that can display the first accident parameter following the accident. The first accident parameter is provided on the determined display, and a second accident parameter that is representative of the severity and/or the accident consequence severity is ascertained. The method also includes receiving a release signal for the second accident parameter from the person outside the vehicle following the accident involving the vehicle, and verifying the release signal for the second accident parameter using the control unit of the vehicle. The second accident parameter is provided on the determined display if the release signal was successfully verified by the control unit of the vehicle.

摘要: A lateral shock absorber is provided and includes a protective fender and a locking mechanism. The protective fender is pivoted to a base of a child car safety seat and pivotally switchable relative to the base. The locking mechanism is for selectively engaging with the protective fender to restrain the protective fender from switching to an unfolded state or disengaging from the protective fender to allow the protective fender to switch to the unfolded state when the protective fender is located in a folded state. The locking mechanism includes a locking assembly and an abutting block. The locking assembly is driven to a locking state for engaging with the protective fender when the abutting block is pressed downwardly. The locking assembly is driven to a releasing state for disengaging from the protective fender when the abutting block is not pressed. Besides, a related child car safety seat is also provided.

摘要: An airbag system includes a vehicle having a vehicle seat rotated between an upright position to a fully reclined position. An airbag is positioned forward of a passenger seated on the vehicle seat, the airbag positioned in a stowed condition and a fully inflated condition. A horizontal cushion of the airbag in the fully inflated condition extends from a main airbag section. The horizontal cushion is contacted by a head of the passenger and prevents rotation of the head into direct contact with one or both knees of the passenger.

摘要: An apparatus and methods are provided for a chassis for an off-road vehicle that includes a roll cage chassis structural spine. The chassis is a welded-tube variety of chassis that includes a front portion and a rear portion that are joined to an intervening passenger cabin portion. The roll cage chassis spine includes a front canopy and a rear canopy comprising an overhead spine to the chassis that increases the strength of the chassis and improves the safety of occupants within the vehicle. The rear canopy couples to the rear portion of the chassis, and the front canopy couples to the front portion of the chassis and the rear canopy. The front canopy and the rear canopy are configured to cooperatively reinforce the chassis during loading forces on the front portion due to front struts and loading forces on the rear portion due to rear struts.

摘要: A method for determining an occupant class for a vehicle seat includes obtaining, via first and second seat weight sensors, first and second seat weight indications for the vehicle seat. The first seat weight sensor is located on the lateral side of the vehicle seat at a front location on the vehicle seat. The second seat weight sensor is located on the lateral side of the vehicle seat at a rear location on the vehicle seat. The method also includes obtaining a vehicle acceleration value from a vehicle acceleration sensor. The method also includes determining a raw weight on the vehicle seat as twice the sum of the first and second seat weight indications, and determining a filtered weight based on the raw weight. The method further includes determining the occupant class based on the filtered weight in response to the vehicle acceleration value being less than a predetermined value.

The vehicle includes a support member mounted to the post between the vehicle floor and the vehicle roof. The vehicle includes an airbag supported by the support member. The airbag is inflatable to an inflated position when the post is in the deployed position.
