    摘要: The present invention relates to a textile cord comprising at least two yarns, each yarn comprising multiple filaments, wherein each filament comprises polyethylene furanoate reinforced by carbon nano material and/or boron nitride nano material. These textile cords are particularly useful as tire reinforcements. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a polymeric composition comprising (1) polyethylene-2,5-furan dicarboxylate and (2) a carbon nano material or a boron nitride nano material. This polymeric composition can optionally be further comprised of one or more additional polyesters, such as polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate. This invention is further directed to a rubber component comprising said cords coated with rubber and to tires and other rubber products comprising such cords.

    摘要: A pneumatic tire includes a tire case, a tread and a single-layer belt. The tire case includes a carcass that extends from one bead portion to another bead portion. An outer side portion of the carcass is covered with a side rubber layer formed of a first rubber material. The tread is disposed at the tire radial direction outer side of the tire case and is formed of a second rubber material. The belt is disposed between the tire case and the tread. The belt includes a resin-covered cord that is wound in a spiral shape. The resin-covered includes a cord covered with a resin with a greater tensile modulus of elasticity than the first rubber material and the second rubber material. The resin at one winding and another winding of the resin-covered cord, which are adjacent in the tire width direction, are welded together.

A profile of the tread surface 16 is formed by: an arc C1 that is disposed at a center, and that projects outward in a radial direction; and a pair of arcs C2 each of which is disposed outward of the arc C1 in an axial direction and each of which projects outward in the radial direction. The arc C1 contacts with the arcs C2. A radius R1 of curvature of the arc C1 is less than a radius R2 of curvature of each arc C2. Outer ends 40 of the rubber reinforcing layers 14 are disposed outward of ends TE of the tread surface 16 in the radial direction. Inner ends 42 of the rubber reinforcing layers 14 are disposed inward of the ends TE of the tread surface 16 in the radial direction. The rubber reinforcing layers 14 are not disposed on an equator plane.
