    Abstract: A representative fastening tool which fastens a work piece by utilizing a fastener that includes a pin in which a shaft portion and a head portion are integrally formed and a hollow shaped collar which is engageable to the pin, wherein the work piece is disposed between the head portion and the collar. The fastening tool includes a pin holding portion which can hold an end part region of the shaft portion, wherein the fastener is fastened in a state that the collar and the head portion clamp the work piece and the end part region is integral with the shaft portion, wherein the controller has the pin holding portion move in the first direction to conduct the fastening of the fastener by a motor drive control mode defined as a drive control of the motor based on motor drive current and motor drive electric power.

    Abstract: A fastening tool includes a motor, an anvil, a pin-gripping part, a magnet having the north pole and the south pole aligned in a front-rear direction and configured to move integrally with the pin-gripping part in the front-rear direction, a first magnetic sensor having a first sensing surface, a second magnetic sensor having a second sensing surface and disposed rearward of the first magnetic sensor, and a control device configured to move the pin-gripping part rearward based on a detection result of the second magnetic sensor and to move the pin-gripping part forward based on a detection result of the first magnetic sensor. The first and second magnetic sensors are unipolar detection type sensors configured to detect a same specified pole of the magnet. Orientations of the first sensing surface and the second sensing surface relative to a movement axis of the magnet are opposite to each other.

    Abstract: A mandrel collector includes a case body and an end plate. The case body has a connecting end for being connected to a rivet gun. The end plate is engaged with the case body and is opposite to the connecting end. The end plate has at least one receiving hole, wherein a hole section of the receiving hole is a hexagonal hole with six walls. The walls include three first walls and three second walls. Each of the first walls is connected between adjacent two of the second walls. The hole section is defined to have a central axis and a reference plane perpendicular to the central axis. On the reference plane, a side length of at least one of the first walls is smaller than side lengths of the second walls. With such design, the receiving hole could receive a head of an adapter and could rotate the adapter as a screwdriver.
