摘要: A power tool has a body, a trigger, a motor, a shaft set, a ball screw, and a pre-fastening module. The pre-fastening module has a first pre-fastening detecting member and a second pre-fastening detecting member. The first pre-fastening detecting member is moved with a connecting shaft of the shaft set in an axial direction. The second pre-fastening detecting member is located on a moving path of the ball screw. When a threaded spindle of the shaft set is inserted in a rivet nut and the connecting shaft is pressed to move inward the body, the first pre-fastening detecting member is moved to align with the second pre-fastening detecting member, and the motor is started automatically to drive the threaded spindle to rotate relative to the rivet nut. The motor will be stopped automatically after the rivet nut is pre-fastened on the threaded spindle, and this is convenient in use.

摘要: Lockbolt collar feed mechanisms, lockbolt installation tools, and methods of installing lockbolt assemblies are disclosed. Lockbolt collar feed mechanisms comprise a collar cartridge and a mounting bracket operatively coupled to the collar cartridge and configured to be operatively coupled to a lockbolt installation tool. The collar cartridge has a delivery position, in which an exit port is positioned to position a lockbolt collar forward of the lockbolt installation tool's anvil, and a retracted position, in which the collar cartridge is pivoted and translated rearward relative to the delivery position. The collar cartridge is biased toward the delivery position and moves from the delivery position to the retracted position responsive to a user urging the lockbolt installation tool and the lockbolt collar feed mechanism toward and into engagement with a workpiece.

摘要: A rivet dispenser and method for manually loading a handheld rivet gun. The handheld rivet gun may include an attachment port, and the rivet dispenser may have a unitary, single-piece tool body having channels formed therein, sized and shaped to retain heads of a plurality of rivets. The method may include grasping the rivet dispenser in a first hand, grasping the rivet gun in a second hand, and inserting an end of one rivet, extending outward from the rivet dispenser, into the attachment port, thus attaching the rivet to the handheld rivet gun. The method may then include sliding the one rivet through and out of the channel of the rivet dispenser, via movement of the rivet gun and/or the rivet dispenser. Finally, the method may include actuating the rivet gun to install the one rivet into a hole of a structure or structures to be joined together thereby.

摘要: The invention relates to a riveting tool for setting blind rivet nuts and/or blind rivet screws, comprising a drive piston which is able to be hydraulically adjusted from an initial position toward an end position, a pull rod which is releasably and operatively connected to the drive piston and which is able to be adjusted by the drive piston from a rivet receiving position into a setting position and a coupling element fixing the pull rod and a drawing mandrel to one another in the longitudinal axial direction. In order to provide a riveting tool of the type mentioned above by which uniform setting processes of rivets may be carried out with a high degree of repeated accuracy, it is provided that the riveting tool for fixing the setting position has an adjusting unit with a stroke-limiting element which is axially adjustable relative to the coupling element in the longitudinal axial direction of the pull rod, said stroke-limiting element being in engagement with the coupling element via a stop surface in the setting position.

摘要: A method for setting up a riveter comprising an electrical drive which is configured to place a blind riveting element in a location hole. The riveter applies a tensile force to a tensile element of the blind riveting element during a rivet placement process so that the tensile element tears away from a remainder of the blind riveting element at a predetermined breaking point at an end of the placement process. The tensile force used to place the blind riveting element is defined by an adjustable maximum value which is determined during the setting up. The method includes performing the placement process with the blind riveting element of the type to be used, acquiring a progression of the tensile force during the placement process, determining at least one characteristic value from the progression, and fixing the adjustable maximum value as a function comprising the at least one characteristic value.

摘要: A fastener installation tool includes a nose assembly, first and second cylinders, first and second pistons, and a yoke. The nose assembly is adapted to apply an axial load to a fastener along a longitudinal axis of the nose assembly. The first and second cylinders are diametrically opposed to one another with respect to the longitudinal axis of the nose assembly. The first piston is disposed within the first cylinder and is movable along a longitudinal axis thereof. The second piston is disposed within the second cylinder and is movable along a longitudinal axis thereof. The yoke connects the first piston, the second piston, and the nose assembly such that motion of one of the pistons along its corresponding longitudinal axis causes motion of the other one of the pistons along its corresponding longitudinal axis and motion of at least a portion of the nose assembly along its longitudinal axis.
