    摘要: An apparatus for threading a tool unit onto an elongate structural element. The apparatus has a holding arrangement for holding it on a feed device, a tool unit to be threaded onto the elongate structural element. The tool unit has a tool axis and a vibration unit connected to the tool unit and configured to generate a periodic force in at least one first spatial direction that runs transversely with respect to the tool axis. First and second coupling components, held elastically on one another, are provided. The first coupling component is connected to the holding arrangement, the second coupling component is connected to the tool unit. The vibration unit is operated, during a feed movement of the holding arrangement for threading the tool unit onto the elongate structural element, to add an additional, periodically varying transverse component to a feed force acting on the tool unit.

    摘要: A clutch apparatus for releasing the transmission of rotation from an electric motor to a spin shaft, is equipped with a rear clutch nut and a front clutch nut in order from the rear end side. The rear clutch nut transmits rotating force from the electric motor to the front clutch nut when engaged with the front clutch nut, but is disengaged from the front clutch nut by a predetermined rotation load. The front clutch nut has a cylindrical shape, so that the spin shaft can be arranged at an axial center portion, and when engaged with the engaging unit of the spin shaft, the rotating force is transmitted to the spin shaft, but the clutch is disengaged by a backward stroke of the front clutch nut and a predetermined stroke toward the tip of the spin shaft.

    摘要: A rivet rotational feeding method for friction self-piercing riveting (F-SPR) system, comprising: a semi-hollow rivet, a driving spindle and a die. The bottom surface of the rivet head is connected to the semi-hollow rivet shank. The semi-hollow rivet shank has a wedge-shaped end. The rivet head has rotation driving structures and positioning structure on the top end. The rotation driving structures are central symmetric concave or convex surfaces. The positioning structure is a central symmetric and mirror symmetric concave or convex surface. The matching between the driving spindle and the rivet can improve the rotation reliability and positioning accuracy of the riveting at a high rotational speed during F-SPR process, which is beneficial to solve the problems of poor stability and non-coincidence between the geometry axis and the rotation axis of the rivet.

    摘要: A method of riveting a first substrate and a second substrate with a rivet includes delivering a first ultrasonic pulse to a respective exterior surface of the first substrate at a predefined target area, via an ultrasonic device. The first ultrasonic pulse is configured to soften the first substrate at a first softening temperature. The method includes attaching a crust layer on a rivet head of the rivet. A second ultrasonic pulse is delivered to the predefined target area to soften the crust layer at a second softening temperature, via the ultrasonic device. A surface profile of the crust layer is fashioned via compression of a horn inner cavity of the ultrasonic device over the crust layer. The crust layer is cooled to harden into a seal configured to prevent entry of moisture between the rivet and the respective exterior surface of the first substrate, thereby reducing galvanic corrosion.
