    Abstract: Provided is a feed mechanism that has a small number of parts and that is suitable for downsizing. A feed mechanism (1) includes: a base (2); a movable body (3); a feed screw (4) configured to move the movable body (3) relative to the base (2); and a torque generation member (15) formed with a female thread (15b) that is threadedly engaged with the feed screw (4). The movable body (3) is formed with a housing hole (12) extending in a direction orthogonal to the feed screw (4), and the torque generation member (15) is housed in the housing hole (12).

    Abstract: Fastening art with double nuts for a dual-threaded screw structure is provided, in which loosening is not created even if the structure is subjected to vibration. A spring washer is caused to intervene between the nuts, when double nuts of an inner nut and an outer nut are screwed onto a thread portion on which dual-threaded screw is formed. Only by tightening the outer nut, also the inner nut is tightened and the spring washer is compressed. Both axial force for clamping the fastened member and axial force between the nuts can be secured with the spring washer, so that loosening does not occur easily.

    Abstract: An adjustable flow restrictor includes a nut, an adjustment screw, and a sleeve. The adjustment screw installs into the nut whereby the adjustment screw and the nut define a pathway therebetween. Adjustment of the adjustment screw relative to the nut varies the pathway with respect to a length thereof. The sleeve fits over the adjustment screw and mates with the nut in order to define a chamber with an outlet. The pathway receives therein a liquid conveyed to the nut and communicates the liquid to the chamber for exit therefrom via the outlet. Adjusting the length of the pathway sets the volumetric flow rate of the liquid traversing the pathway such that the liquid exiting the outlet flows therefrom at a desired volumetric flow rate.
