    摘要: A dialyzer (15) includes a hollow fiber dialysis column (20), a liquid tubing section (12a), and a flow rate changing section (16a). The hollow fiber dialysis column (20) includes a hollow fiber membrane, a first flow channel that allows a dialysis target to flow internally of the hollow fiber membrane, and a second flow channel that allows an external liquid to flow externally of the hollow fiber membrane. The liquid tubing section (12a) tubes the dialysis target to an inlet (20a) of the first flow channel. The flow rate changing section (16a) is capable of changing a flow rate of the dialysis target at the dialysis target flowing out of an outlet (20b) of the first flow channel.

    摘要: To enhance diffusive mass transfer of small molecules and convective clearance of middle molecules, the present invention provides a cylindrical hemodialyzer which comprises a blood compartment having a packed bundle of hollow fibers in a doughnut configuration on a radial cross-section, and a motorized dialysate compartment comprising a dialysate inlet motor having an external stator and an internal rotor connected to an axial spiral flow converter slidably inserted in a center of the packed bundle of the hollow fibers. The cylindrical hemodialyzer is configured to recirculate dialysate across the packed bundle of the hollow fibers propelled by the dialysate inlet motor. A dialysate outlet motor of the motorized dialysate compartment having an external stator and an internal rotor is configured to drain the dialysate and to control ultrafiltration by said cylindrical hemodialyzer.

Most of the joints are connected using threaded joint and flow pressure, therefore no external clamp, nuts or bolts is needed. The flexible tube and the cylindrical shape ensure uniform flow in chambers. The apparatus is therefore a user-friendly and steadfast membrane filter device.

    摘要: A membrane contactor for degassing a gas-entrained liquid and to discharge gas-depleted liquid includes: a shell has two ends; a cap closes one shell end; a membrane extends between the shell ends and is enclosed within the shell; a first center tube discharges the gas-entrained liquid into the membrane; a second center tube discharges the gas-depleted liquid from the contactor; and one tube surrounds the other tube. The membrane may be a flat sheet membrane or a hollow fiber membrane. The cap has an in let in fluid communication with the first center tube and an outlet in fluid communication with the second center tube. A baffle may be located within the membrane between the shell ends.
