摘要: Provided is a centrifuge media separator for separating blast particulate from fine particulate carried by air flowing from a blast cabinet and through the media separator. The centrifuge media separator comprises an upper panel, a lower panel, and an outer wall. The upper panel has a central opening formed therein. The outer wall is configured in a truncated logarithmic shape and which extends between the upper and lower panels. The outer wall has at least one particulate escape aperture formed therein. The upper panel, lower panel and outer wall collectively define a curvilinear air passageway having an inlet and an outlet. An air foil extends from the outer wall in to the air passageway. The distance than the air foil extends in to the air passageway is adjustable. The inlet is configured to allow a flow of air to enter the air passageway and circulate therethrough toward the outlet. The escape aperture is configured to exhaust the blast particulate out of the passageway. The central opening is configured to exhaust the fine particulate out of the passageway.

摘要: A method and apparatus for treating waste gas for an solvent-based carbon capture unit. The process involving the use of a dry sorbent injection (DSI) unit to remove sulfur compounds and fine particulate matter from flue gas are described. The treated flue gas is used to preheat the rich solvent stream from the carbon capture unit. Flue gas from an FCC regenerator, for example, is used to make superheated steam and saturated steam. The process allows for increased thermal energy recovery, decreased water utility and increased equipment reliability.

摘要: A filter unit for use With a filtrating fluid flow system is configured to receive a flow of a fluid containing particulate matter. The filter unit comprises a filter structure formed of a filter material configured to at least partially filter the particulate matter from the flow of fluid. The filter unit further comprises an entry plate located proximate the filter structure entrance. The filter structure and the entry plate together define a fluid cavity within the filter unit, the entry plate having at least one orifice defined therein through which the flow of fluid can pass into the fluid cavity. The orifice is configured to form a choke, creating a Venturi effect for temporarily increasing the velocity of the flow of fluid through the entry plate and within the fluid cavity, and onto the filter material.

摘要: An evacuation station for collecting debris from a cleaning robot includes a controller configured to execute instructions to perform one or more operations. The one or more operations includes initiating an evacuation operation such that an air mover draws air containing debris from the cleaning robot, through an intake of the evacuation station, and through a canister of the evacuation station and such that a receptacle received by the evacuation station receives at least a portion of the debris drawn from the cleaning robot. The one or more operations includes ceasing the evacuation operation in response to a pressure value being within a range. The pressure value is determined based at least in part on data indicative of an air pressure, and the range is set based at least in part on a number of evacuation operations initiated before the evacuation operation.
