摘要： The present invention relates to a transmission apparatus and reception apparatus for parallel data streams. The present specification discloses a wireless stream transmission apparatus comprising: an encoder for dividing an inputted picture into multiple areas and performing, for each area, encoding so as to generate a bitstream including a header and data; a DS generating unit for removing or modifying at least a portion of headers related to the multiple areas into compact headers, and combining, with the data, at least the remaining headers which have not been removed or the compact headers so as to generate a data stream for each area; and a communication unit for packing the data stream so as to generate a packet, and transmitting, on the basis of wireless communication, the packet to a wireless stream reception apparatus. By using modified headers in applications where real time is important, it is possible to reduce a traffic burden and satisfy low-latency requirements.

摘要： Systems and methods are described for delivering regional content for a lineup over a national network. A content provider may select a particular regional broadcast for inclusion in a regional service lineup. The content provider may be able to broadcast multiple, or even all, services nationally. At regional distribution centers, a multiplexer may select only those services that are desired for the region in response to in-stream signals. In some instances, a single region-specific version of a given service may be selected from multiple versions broadcasted nationally. The regional lineup, including the selected services, can then be multiplexed and transmitted to customers throughout the region.

摘要： While a first playback device is a member of a synchronous media playback group with a second playback device using a first media playback protocol, and after a particular playback setting is enabled using the first media playback protocol, the first playback device receives, from a media source device, a first media stream using a second media playback protocol. The first and second media playback protocols are incompatible. The first playback device determines that the particular playback setting is enabled and that the synchronous media playback group includes the first playback device and the second playback device. Subsequently, the first playback device (i) generates a second media stream based on the received first media stream, the second media stream including information for synchronous playback with the first playback device, and (ii) transmits, to the second playback device, the second media stream using the second media playback protocol.

The method includes receiving a Media Processing Unit (MPU) fragmented into one or more Media Fragment Units (MFUs), generating one or more multimedia data packets each including a packet header and a payload, based on the MPU, and transmitting the one or more multimedia data packets to a terminal. A payload header included in the payload includes identification information indicating an MPU to which at least one MPU included in the payload belongs, and a counter indicating the number of the at least one MPU.

The computational model may be automatically trained using the metrics of interactions to create an adapted computational model. Adapted content composites may be created and configured according to the adapted computational model that may include a second hierarchical ordering using a second hierarchical data structure. The adapted content composites may be presented with the graphical user interface.

The PRC determines the VOD products that need to be generated, pre-caches data that is to be incorporated into VOD products, and selects the pool of video product generators that is to be used to convert the source assets to VOD products.
