    摘要: A learning model generating device includes a first image reading device and a first control device. The first control device includes a processor and functions, through the processor executing a first control program, as a first segmenter, a learning model generator, and a first compressor. The first segmenter segments each of images of training prints obtained by reading performed by the first image reading device. The learning model generator learns segmented images to generate a first learning model for use in inferring a type of an image defect. The first compressor compresses each of the images of the training prints. The first segmenter segments each of compressed images obtained by compression performed by the first compressor. The learning model generator learns compressed and segmented images to generate a second learning model for use in inferring a type of an image defect.

The method, which is carried out in a remote server, includes the steps of generating image data for the remote desktop image and analyzing different regions of the remote desktop image, identifying those regions of the remote desktop image that are text regions, selecting non-text regions of the remote desktop image for lossless compression based on a spatial relationship between the non-text regions and the text regions, compressing the image data using a lossless compression protocol for a portion of the image data corresponding to the selected non-text regions, and transmitting the compressed image data to the client device.

    摘要: Color image data composed of pixels arranged in a matrix wherein colors are expressed in bit rows is created from an acquired document file, and same-resolution binary image data and low-resolution binary image data composed of binary pixels arranged in a matrix are created based on the color image data. A first combining process is performed in which a lower bit value of a predetermined color of the pixels of the color image data is replaced with the value of the corresponding ones of the pixels of the same pixels, and a second combining process is performed in which a lower bit value of a color other than the bit replaced in the first combining process in the pixels of the first combined image data is replaced with the value of the corresponding ones of the pixels of the low-resolution binary image data.

    摘要: A data compressing method which can efficiently compress image data containing color data is provided. A compressed data expanding method which can expand the compressed data at high speed is provided. Image data containing color data are compressed into image data including: address fields code A, code B, code C which hold addresses of color RAMs storing color information corresponding to the color data; classification fields which, when the color RAMs are classified into prescribed categories A, B, C, hold classification information of the categories including the color data; and run length fields RL which hold numbers of successive repetitions of color data. To expand the compressed image data, the classification fields are decoded to determine the categories in which the color data are included. Based on the determined categories, the first processing for decoding the address fields to generate addresses, and the second processing for supplying the generated addresses by the numbers of successively repeated color data in the run length fields to access the color RAMs are performed.

The method first detects a pattern in a first subset of the image data, where the second subset being collocated to a second subset. If no pattern is detected, then a text mode context model is selected. If a pattern is detected, then the period of the pattern is detected and a pattern mode context model is selected. The pattern mode context model has a width directly related to the period of the pattern detected. An arithmetic compressor compresses the second subset using the selected context model.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a bit-map compressing method and a bit-map compressing device. The bit-map data compressing method includes a main scanning step for scanning bit-map data in a main scanning direction; a first region separating step for separating a region including black pixels and a region including no black pixels in line unit; a secondary scanning step for scanning in a secondary direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction; a second region separating step for separating a region including black pixels and a region including no black pixels, in column unit; and an encoding step for encoding as an element each region obtained in the first region separating step and the second region separating step. Bit-map can be transferred by effectively performing data compression on simple algorithm, without using special hardware.
