摘要: The disclosed invention describes a method for determining a current state of a gas cell in an airship, particularly the lift. A computing device receives depth measurements of the interior of the gas cell using a lidar sensor positioned outside the cell and uses these depth measurements to create a mesh, segment a space within the mesh into geometric shapes, calculate the volume of the shapes, and use the calculated volume to estimate the total volume of the space within the mesh, representing the volume of gas within the gas cell. The computing device then uses the estimated volume to calculate the lift of the gas cell and sends the calculated lift to a control module of the airship.

The system comprises a plurality of sensors (104, 109) located outside the ballonet(s) but inside the envelope, for measuring the geometry of the enclosure. Some of the sensors (104) are arranged to measure an internal surface of the pressure-stabilised envelope (100), and others of the sensors (109) are arranged to measure an external surface of the at least one ballonet (102, 103).

摘要: A novel and useful system and method for measuring an article of clothing (AOC) that may include one or more of an apparel expander (AE) having an expansion chamber configured to be inserted into a cavity of the AOC and to receive an operating fluid (OPF), a fluid distribution unit (FDU) coupled to the AE and configured to control a supply of the OPF to, or from, the apparel expander, a sensor configured to detect contours of the AE when at least a portion of the AE is situated within the cavity of the AOC and form corresponding sensor information, and a controller configured to control the FDU to supply the OPF to the AE to expand the AE when at least a portion of the AE is situated within the cavity of AOC, obtain the sensor information from the sensor, reconstruct a three-dimensional (3D) model of the AOC based upon the detected contours of the AE obtained from the sensor information, and form digital size information (DSI) including information related to the reconstructed three-dimensional model.

摘要: Embodiments described herein generally relate to devices, systems and methods for measuring the dose remaining in a drug delivery device that is used for delivering a dose to a patient. In some embodiments, a dose measurement system for measuring the liquid volume in a container includes a plurality of light sources which are disposed and configured to emit electromagnetic radiation toward the container. A plurality of sensors are located in the apparatus that are optically coupleable to the plurality of light sources and are disposed and configured to detect the electromagnetic radiation emitted by at least a portion of the light sources. The apparatus also includes a processing unit configured to receive data representing the portion of the detected electromagnetic radiation from each of the plurality of sensors. The processing unit is further operable to convert the received data into a signature representative of the electromagnetic radiation detected by the plurality of sensors.

摘要: Methods and systems for determining caving volume estimations based on logging data and geomechanical models are provided. For example, a system can receive image log data measured during a drilling operation in a wellbore. The system can receive an identification of a breakout in a subterranean formation around the wellbore. The system can determine, using the image log data, a breakout angular width for the breakout. The system can determine a breakout depth for the breakout. The system can determine a caving volume based on the breakout depth and the breakout angular width substantially contemporaneously with the drilling operation. The system can output the caving volume estimation for use in substantially contemporaneously adjusting a drilling parameter for the drilling operation.
