摘要: A device and method for leakage detecting of a crude oil tank floor are provided, the leakage detection field of oil storage tank base plates is related to. The device comprises a control system, a detection robot and a plurality of acoustic signal receivers. The acoustic signal receivers and the control system are all arranged outside a crude oil tank. The control system is arranged outside the crude oil tank. The acoustic signal receivers are all connected with the control system. When the crude oil tank is detected, the detection robot is arranged in the crude oil tank. The detection robot comprises a moving mechanism, a positioning sonar and an array leakage detection sensor. The positioning sonar and the array leakage detection sensor are both arranged on the moving mechanism. The acoustic signal receivers are used for receiving sonar signals sent by the positioning sonar. The array leakage detection sensor is used for detecting a leakage point of the crude oil tank. The present disclosure can solve the problems that a signal of a floor leakage inside a large crude oil tank is weak and cannot be received by a sensor outside the tank.

摘要: It is described an in-line safe pressure test system and method for detecting leaks in a pressure safety valve PSV (100), the valve including an inlet (P1), outlet (P2) and valve seat controlling fluid flow between said inlet and outlet. The system includes a Safety Controller SC (110) with a test fluid source, at least one Abnormal Condition Detector ACD unit, controller, data storage unit, and communication means for sending and receiving signals from/to the SC and an external safety system, wherein the SC is adapted to apply a test pressure to the inlet side of the PSV until the test pressure exceeds a set opening pressure of the PSV and the valve seat starts lifting, detect the sound caused by vibrations from the first small leak past the valve seat, record and store the value of said test pressure and/or report said test pressure via said communication means.

摘要: Methods for quantitatively determining the time (TNI) between (1) the application of this method and (2) the time at which the next out-of-service API 653 internal inspection of a steel, field-erected, aboveground storage tank (AST) containing petroleum/water products should be performed. These methods combine four in-service measurements of the thickness, integrity, and corrosion rate of the tank bottom with an empirical corrosion rate cumulative frequency distribution (CFD) for the tank of interest to develop a Bayesian tank bottom survival probability distribution to determine TNI. During this entire TNI time period, the risk of tank bottom failure is less than at the time these methods were applied. If available, the results of a previous out-of-service API 653 internal inspection are also used. These methods can be applied at any time while the tank is in-service to update the internal inspection interval previously determined in an out-of-service internal inspection of the tank.

摘要: A device and method for detecting water leaks in building structures relies on sonic and spectral density analyses of sound distortions caused by a subsurface water leak. Structurally, the device includes a microphone connected with a sound amplifier. Also included is a head set and/or a sound analyzer which are respectively connected with the amplifier. In this combination, the microphone is moved across a surface in the building structure to detect an audio signal that is indicative of a subsurface water leak. This audio signal is then aurally evaluated using the headset to identify a sound distortion relative to white noise, or it is visually evaluated by reference to a spectral density presentation of frequencies on the sound analyzer. Operationally, a location of the water leak is determined by moving the microphone along a search pattern of trace lines over the surface being searched until there is a meaningful response.
