摘要: A system is provided with an insulin delivery device configured to deliver insulin to a user of the system and a computer-based control unit associated with the insulin delivery device. The computer-based control unit includes a user interface and a computer-based processor. The computer-based processor is configured to calculate a relative insulin on board value for a specific time by calculating a first value that represents a reference insulin on board value at the specific time, calculating a second value that represents an automated insulin on board value at the specific time, and subtracting one of the first and second values from the other. The automated insulin on board value represents at least one insulin delivery automatically specified by the computer-based control unit. Methods of use are also disclosed.

摘要: A therapy delivery device stores a plurality of time-dependent therapy settings. The therapy delivery device is configured to administer time-dependent therapies according to the time-dependent therapy settings based on a universal conception of time that is independent of a local time zone. A mobile device includes a display adapted to depict information about therapy or therapy-related data as compared to a local time that is stored on the mobile device based on a local time zone setting found in the mobile device. The therapy delivery device and a mobile application executing on the mobile device are configured to keep separate clocks, with each clock being based on a universal concept of time that is independent of a local time zone.

Such a reusable accessory may include a wireless communication interface, a detection circuitry, and a recommendation system. In one or more embodiments, an adapter may be configured to reversibly couple such a reusable accessory to a manual medication delivery device. Dosing events may be detected that are associated with dosing at the manual medication delivery device. Dose recommendations may be provided responsive to analyte measurements and/or dosing events.

摘要: An apparatus for measuring liquid volume in a container includes a plurality of light sources for emitting electromagnetic radiation (EMR) toward the container, a plurality of sensors optically coupleable to the plurality of light sources, each sensor of the plurality of sensors for detecting the EMR emitted by at least a portion of the plurality of light sources, a temperature sensor for measuring at least one temperature associated with a liquid in the container, and at least one processor for receiving data representative of the portion of the detected EMR from each of the plurality of sensors, comparing the at least one measured temperature to a temperature guideline to identify any temperature events associated with the received data; normalizing the received data based on any temperature events associated with the received data; and converting the normalized data into a signature representative of the EMR detected by the plurality of sensors.
