摘要: A transfer gearbox includes an input shaft, first and second output shafts, and a torque transmission device having a clutch which distributes a driving torque introduced via the input shaft optionally to the first output shaft and the second output shaft. A chain drive is active between the torque transmission device and the second output shaft, and includes a lower chain wheel which engages in an oil sump with lubrication oil such that, by way of a chain, lubrication oil is conveyed from the oil sump in the direction of an upper chain wheel which is drive-connected to the lower chain wheel via the chain. The chain is arranged at an outlet opening of an oil reservoir which collects the lubrication oil and which opens into the oil sump. The chain throttles the flowing out of the lubrication oil collected in the oil reservoir into the oil sump.

摘要: The invention relates to a lubricating device, particularly for use in an apparatus which is used to lubricate mobile lubrication points e.g. on a rotating belt or chain belt. A lubricant discharge body of a lubricating head, which when lubricant is conveyed by a feed pump into a dosing chamber which is separated from the lubricant discharge channel, is placed in a front standby position and, counter to the effect of a restoring force, is moved into a locking and lubricant release position wherein the link between the pump and the dosing chamber is blocked by a reversing piston and the dosing chamber is fluidic ally connected to the lubricant discharge channel and a predefined volume of lubricant can be pumped out of the dosing chamber into the lubricant discharge channel. The lubricant discharge body cooperates with a reversing piston in such a way that the feed pump is fluidic ally connected to the dosing chamber of a dosing piston/cylinder arrangement via an annular area of the reversing piston when the lubricant discharge body is located in a front standby position, and such that the dosing chamber is fluidically connected to the lubricant discharge channel via the angular area when the lubricant discharge body is placed in a retracted position in which the lubricant is released. The reversing piston blocks the fluidic connection between the feed pump and the dosing chamber such that the amount of lubricant provided for discharge can be pumped out of the dosing chamber in the direction of the annular area by a dosing piston which is impinged upon by the feed pump.

摘要: A device dispenses lubricant onto a cable as the cable enters a conduit through which the cable is being pulled. An inside wall flares out in a bell-shaped surface to an entry end of the device where the cable enters, the space enclosed by the inside wall being unobstructed. A lubricant dispensing structure dispenses the lubricant automatically at the inside wall and onto the length of cable. An inside wall defines an inside space through which the cable passes from an entry end of the device to an exit end of the device as the cable is being pulled through the conduit. There is an unthreaded outer cylindrical wall at the exit end of the device, the outer wall having a section of smaller diameter at the exit end and a section of larger diameter spaced apart from the exit end, the smaller diameter and the larger diameter sections corresponding to two different inner diameters of two different conduits, the two different conduits sharing a common outer diameter.

摘要: A wire rope cleaning brush assembly designed to clean elevator and hoist wire rope and cable includes a U-shaped frame having opposed legs, each leg configured to support a generally rectangular rope cleaning brush. The brushes are disposed with their bristle tips converging at a nominal plane, and the wire ropes and cable translate in the nominal plane to be cleaned by the bristles as the wire rope is moved past the brushes by actuation of the elevator hoist. A pair of cap plates are removably secured to the U-shaped frame, each plate securing one of the brushes. The plates and the frame include holding pins extending toward the brushes to retain the brushes fixedly in the U-shaped frame. The confronting bristle tips impinge on the moving wire rope, and apply sufficient force to remove dirt and corrosion from the valleys as well as the crowns of the wire braids and strands. The reversible operation of the elevator hoist assures that the wire ropes are drawn through the bristles both with and against the "grain" of the brushes, providing a thorough cleaning of the wire rope. Moreover, the wire rope is cleaned constantly through operation of the hoist, so that it is maintained in a clean state and does not undergo cycles of dirt buildup followed by periodic cleaning. A rope lubricator may be secured to a lubricator mounting plate which both supports the rope lubricator and retains a brush within the frame assembly.

摘要: A refrigerant compressor suitable for use in refrigerators, air conditioners, heat pumps or the like apparatus. The refrigerant compressor has a closed casing which encases a driving electric motor section and a compressor section constructed as a unit. The compressor section has a substantially horizontal crank shaft consisting of a main shaft portion fixed to one end of the rotor of the driving motor, an eccentric portion rotatably carrying a rotary piston and an end journal portion. The lubrication system of this compressor has a passage means for introducing a lubricating oil to various parts requiring lubrication, and a lubricator adapted to supply the lubrication oil to the passage means. The passage means includes a peripheral oil groove formed in the portion having crank shaft of the minimum eccentricity and connected at its one end to a peripheral oil groove formed in the main shaft portion and at its other end to a peripheral oil groove in the journal portion of the crank shaft. The lubricator includes a curved oil pipe fixed at its one end and immersed at its other end in the lubricating oil collected in the closed casing, and a coiled spring rotatably received by the oil pipe and connected at its one end to the journal portion of the crank shaft while the other end is immersed in the lubricating oil through the end opening of the oil pipe.

Two embodiments of a simple stamped sheet metal lubricator are disclosed for tolerating low oil levels in the sump thereby permitting a tilted orientation of the bearing housing and longer periods of time between oil replenishment. Both of the lubricators accommodate a significantly offset access to the oil sump.
