    摘要: The improved CVT control apparatus for a vehicle is disclosed. By using the CVT control apparatus, it becomes possible that the drive feeling is constant independently of a running state, the vehicle is accelerated as the driver's intention if accelerated due to the actuation of an accelerator pedal, and the run of the vehicle is performed so as to improve the fuel consumption rate if the acceleration is not required. By always calculating a correct driving torque, the transmission gear ratio is calculated to obtain the target driving torque set based on the amount of actuation of an accelerator pedal, and the obtained target driving torque is corrected by the gradient of a road obtained from the calculated driving torque. Further, the gear ratio which aims at the improvement of acceleration and the gear ratio which aims at the improvement of the rate of fuel consumption are weighted and combined with each other, and the optimum gear ratio is obtained by using fuzzy inference.

In an embodiment of the present invention, a process for controlling power provided by an engine operating in a machine is provided. The process may include determining a first power value reflecting a predetermined first power to be provided by the engine to a component operating in the machine. Further, the process may include determining, during machine operations, at least one of a parasitic power value reflecting power received by a parasitic load module from the engine and an intermittent power value reflecting power received by an intermittent load module from the engine. A second power value may then be determined that reflects a second power provided by the engine based on the parasitic power value, the intermittent power value, and the net power value. Based on changes in at least one of the parasitic power value and the intermittent power value, the process may adjust the second power value such that the engine substantially provides the predetermined net power to the component.

The input torque of the automatic transmission is calculated from the estimated engine output torque and the operation state of a torque converter. The calculated input torque of the automatic transmission is decreased during a predetermined time corresponding to an estimation response delay of the engine output torque after the engine is made in a no-load state, so as to properly control the line pressure.
