摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle parking lock system that realizes a parking lock with a positive user perception, and enables energy and cost reductions without complex control and with a simple configuration. The object is achieved by a selectable clutch configured to be switchable between four operating modes and provided to one of an input shaft, an output shaft, and an intermediate shaft of a transmission. The operating mode of the selectable clutch is controlled based on detection signals of a plurality of sensors to prevent an unintended movement of the vehicle when the vehicle is stationary.

摘要: A method of controlling an automatic geared transmission of a vehicle drive train. The transmission is linked, on the input side, to a hybrid drive which comprising an engine and an electric motor and, on the output side, to an axle drive and wheels. During vehicle stand still with the engine and/or electric motor operating and a disengaged drive train, rolling of the motor vehicle is prevented, or at least limited, by shifting the transmission. When the automatic geared transmission is in the neutral position (Gl=N), a safety function is activated to avoid uncontrolled rolling of the vehicle in which actuation of shift operating elements, the throttle and the brake pedal, as well as the rolling speed, are captured by sensors and in which, when the drive operating elements (shift operating element xSBE=0, throttle xFP=0, brake pedal xBP=0) are not activated, a starting gear is engaged once a predetermined limiting speed (vRoll>vGr) is exceeded.

摘要: An automated gear shift transmission and method of controlling the same are described. The transmission is installed in a motor vehicle comprising several forward gears and at least one reverse gear and that allows choosing from several different driving modes by means of a driving mode selector lever. A forward gear is maintained in engagement in case of an uphill orientation of the motor vehicle when the parking mode is chosen. Instead of the forward gear, a reverse gear is maintained in engagement in case of a downhill orientation of the motor vehicle when the parking mode is chosen. This allows taking specific driving conditions or driving situations into account with relatively simple means.

摘要: A control system (a control valve CV and an electronic control unit ECU) for an automatic transmission TM performs an automatic control to select and establish a speed ratio from a plurality of speed ratios in response to the condition of a vehicle which is set in a drive range. This control system creates a neutral condition if the vehicle is stationary with the brake of the vehicle being actuated and the accelerator for the engine being turned off while the transmission is set in a drive range. The control system is also equipped with an engine output control device 50 that adjusts the engine output which is input into the transmission when the transmission in the drive range leaves the neutral condition and starts to establish any of the speed ratios in the drive range.

摘要: A control system 32 and method for controlling neutral idle operation of a vehicle 10 is provided. The method includes measuring a brake pressure in a brake control line of vehicle 10. The control line communicates fluid to a brake 128 coupled to a wheel of vehicle 10. The method further includes determining an incline angle of vehicle 10. The method further includes determining a desired brake pressure based on the incline angle. The desired brake pressure is a pressure sufficient to allow the vehicle brakes to maintain vehicle 10 at a predetermined position. Finally, the method includes disengaging a transmission clutch 46 torsionally coupling a vehicle engine 12 to a wheel 24 when the measured brake pressure is greater than the desired brake pressure to initiate neutral idle operation.
