    摘要: A mechanical disc brake structure contains: a body, a brake set, and a drive unit. The body includes two clamp seats between which an accommodation space is defined so as to accommodate a circular disc. The brake set contains: a rotation member includes a coupling column, a rotatable block, and a connection portion. The rotatable block has a push face, the rotation member includes a through aperture, and the stop fringe has a first retaining portion. The engagement member includes a braking disc having a forced face and a shaft. The shaft has a second retaining portion and a threaded orifice. An actuation structure is defined between the push face and the forced face. A torsion spring is accommodated in the through aperture. A screw element is screwed with the threaded orifice, and a locking member is locked with the rotation member.

    摘要: A vehicle brake control system includes an improved ACC system for controlling the operation of a brake actuator and a throttle actuator, based on a signal from a preceding vehicle detector such as a radar device, so that a subject vehicle tracks a preceding vehicle. After a regular brake device is actuated to stop the subject vehicle, an EPB ECU disengages the regular braking device and, instead, actuates an electrically initiated and mechanically maintained parking brake device, so as to temporarily maintain the subject vehicle in a stationary state. Once the electric parking brake device is initiated, its braking state is mechanically maintained even if the flow of current is cut off. Therefore, neither the regular brake device nor the electric parking device consume power while the vehicle is in a stationary state, thereby saving power and minimizing electrical heat generation.

    摘要: A brake assembly (30) has a plurality of brake fluid actuated pistons. The brake assembly includes a brake inlet port (46) for receiving brake fluid from a fluid reservoir. The brake assembly includes a plurality of cylinders (32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, and 44) for actuating a corresponding plurality of pistons. The plurality of cylinders includes at least a first cylinder (32), a second cylinder (44), and a third cylinder (38) for actuating corresponding pistons. The first, second, and third pistons actuate at first, second, and third time intervals. A fluid distribution manifold (48) is connected in fluid communication with the brake inlet port. A plurality of cylinder manifolds (50) includes at least a first cylinder manifold connected in fluid communication with the fluid distribution manifold and the first cylinder, a second cylinder manifold connected in fluid communication with the fluid distribution manifold and the second cylinder, and a third cylinder manifold connected in fluid communication with the fluid distribution manifold and the third cylinder. The first, second, and third cylinder manifolds connect the first, second, and third cylinders in parallel fluid flow, and the parallel fluid flow tends to equalize the first, second, and third time intervals.

    摘要: The invention relates to a multi-disc brake comprising a stationary rotary disc (1) and a movable rotary disc (2) which is mounted on a splined sleeve (5) sliding on the hub (3) of axis (14) and with which the disc (1) is solid. An assembly of friction pads (6-9) can interact with the discs (1, 2) under the action of a hydraulic jack (13). To prevent any rattling at the start of each braking operation, elastic blocks (50) are inserted inside housings provided in the system of splines of the sleeve (5) and of the hub (3) and, when expanded, draw the flanks of the splines against one another in working contact during a braking operation.

    摘要: A disc brake has a hydraulic parking brake actuator. A parking brake piston is advanced upon actuation to close a parking brake valve, sealing hydraulic fluid in the service pressure actuating chamber. Further advancing movement of the parking brake piston generates hydraulic pressure in the actuating chamber and engages the brake. Increased pressure in the actuating chamber also increases the sealing force on the valve controlling the sealing of the pressure chamber. The parking brake mode may also be obtained while hydraulic service brake pressure exists in the actuating chamber by moving the parking brake piston sufficiently to close the parking brake valve, trapping pressurized hydraulic fluid in the actuating chamber and holding the brake in the actuated condition. This pressure may be further increased, if desirable, by further advancing movement of the parking brake piston to further increase the pressure.
