    Abstract: A vapor powered electro-mechanical generator comprises a cylinder, which is sealed at both ends in which two pistons slidingly move in opposite directions simultaneously. A tube on which the pistons also slide lies at the center of the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. The tube transfers vapor from the inlet to the pressurized side of the pistons to actuate pistons, while one or more exhaust valves are simultaneously opened on the opposite end of the piston stroke allowing the expanded vapor to flow to a condensing system. The pistons consist of magnets at their peripheral circumference. As the vapor expands, the pistons magnets move through coils of conductive wire producing electric current. Further, repulsion magnets repel corresponding piston magnets to provide a cushioned rebound effect while conserving momentum of the generator.

    Abstract: A fluid-driven linear motor comprises a cylinder, a piston, and a piston rod connected to the piston. Two sides of the piston in the cylinder are alternately supplied with fluid from a slide valve arrangement. The slide valve arrangement includes a slide and a pilot rod adapted to alternately set a through-bore of a slide in fluid connection with the ends of the slide when the piston is located in its end positions. The pilot rod is provided with an extension rod adapted to move inside a bore of the piston and the piston rod, so that the stroke length of the linear motor can be extended. A pressure chamber is provided at the distal end of the pilot rod. The pressure chamber is adapted to hold the pilot rod with a holding force when in its end positions until mechanical forces from the piston overcome said holding force.

    Abstract: An air motor assembly includes an exhaust block with an exhaust port that conveys exhaust air into an exhaust manifold. The exhaust port includes an expansion chamber that creates a pressure drop in the exhaust gas, thereby decreasing the temperature of the exhaust gas. The expansion chamber is defined between a first wall that is tangential to the air motor cylinder and a second wall that is transverse to an axis of the exhaust port. Poppet valves control actuation of a shuttle. The poppet valves are disposed on the exterior of the air motor assembly and are thermally insulated from the air motor assembly.

    Abstract: A linear electrical machine (LEM) comprising: at least onestator mounted in a housing, the housing and stator defining a working cylinder; a two-section central core within the working cylinder, wherein the two sections of the core are co-axial, separate and cantilever mounted within the working cylinder; a cylindrical stator bore cavity between the working cylinder and the two central core sections; and one or more hollow translators, each translator being axially movable within the stator bore cavity, such that each section of the central core is traversed by part of the one or more translators, thereby forming an exterior magnetic circuit airgap between the respective translator and stator.
