    摘要: Systems and methods for swiveling a panel in relation to a panel frame are described. An exemplar panel swivel system includes a swivel support member, a housing subassembly, and a shaft. The swivel support member includes a base portion that has a first terminating end, a second terminating end, and has defined therein a shaft receiving aperture. The swivel support member further includes a raised surface extending from the first terminating end of the base portion and is designed to contact a top support structure and a securing edge extending from the second terminating end of that base portion, which is designed to contact a side support structure. The housing subassembly extends an elevated distance above the base portion. A central aperture defined in the housing subassembly aligned with the shaft receiving aperture. The shaft extends a shaft length and at least some of the shaft passes through the central aperture and the shaft receiving aperture. The shaft terminates at a panel fitting end that is designed to engage with a panel.

    摘要: A hinge module including a first shaft member, a second shaft member, a sleeve and at least a first ball is provided. The first shaft member is rotatably inserted in the second shaft member along an axis. The sleeve disposed between the first shaft member and the second shaft member along the axis, and the sleeve is connected to the second shaft member. The sleeve has at least one guide groove, which extends around the axis and has at least one gap along the axis. The first ball disposed on the first shaft member, and the first ball rotatably coupled to the guide groove. When the first shaft member is relatively rotated with the second shaft member around the axis, the first shaft member relatively moves the gap along the axis by rolling the first ball in the guide groove. An electronic device is also provided.

    摘要: An oscillating-mount split-hinge device is provided that is designed to be fitted on a heavy door having at least one panel mounted to pivot on a frame. The split-hinge device includes at least one lower split-hinge configured to support at least the bulk of the load of the panel of the door, and at least one upper split-hinge configured to form an anti-tilting holding point and axial guide of the panel. Each of the lower split-hinge and the upper split-hinge includes a stationary split-hinge part integrated with the frame, and a movable split-hinge part integrated with the flap. Each of the lower split-hinge and the upper split-hinge also includes a pivoting shaft integrated with one of the frame and the panel, the pivoting shaft being configured to enable rotatably guiding the movable split-hinge part relative to the stationary split-hinge part around said pivoting shaft.

    摘要: A secure enclosure (10) for an automated banking machine includes a chest portion (12) and a moveable door (14). The door is supported on hinge assemblies (20, 22) which enable mounting and accurately positioning the door despite misalignment of the hinges. One hinge assembly includes a pin (156) which has a ball (186) thereon. The pin is accepted into a larger bore (164) of the other hinge assembly despite axial misalignment of the hinge and bore. The bore has an adjusting screw (188) movably positioned therein which engages the ball when the hinge assemblies are connected. Movement of the adjusting screw enables adjusting the relative positions of the hinge assemblies. In making the secure enclosure one hinge assembly is attached to the chest while the other hinge assembly is attached to the door. The hinge assemblies are connected to movably mount the door on the enclosure. The hinges are adjusted so that dead bolt projections (150) on the door engage aperture (62) when the door is in a closing position.

    摘要: A self closing gate comprising a pair of first and second parallel and spaced vertically extending stationary posts. The gate is mounted between the posts for rotation about the first post between positions closing the space between the posts and opening the space. A pivot assembly is mounted on the first post between one end of the gate and the first post, the pivot assembly comprising an outer rotatable housing tube and a stationary and vertically extending shaft. A stationary housing tube is mounted below and aligned with and for supporting the rotatable housing tube, the bottom annular edge of the rotatable housing tube and the top of the stationary tube being at a bias so that when the gate is opened it will rise. Gravity will close the gate when released.
