Systems and methods for swiveling a panel in relation to a panel frame are described. An exemplar panel swivel system includes a swivel support member, a housing subassembly, and a shaft. The swivel support member includes a base portion that has a first terminating end, a second terminating end, and has defined therein a shaft receiving aperture. The swivel support member further includes a raised surface extending from the first terminating end of the base portion and is designed to contact a top support structure and a securing edge extending from the second terminating end of that base portion, which is designed to contact a side support structure. The housing subassembly extends an elevated distance above the base portion. A central aperture defined in the housing subassembly aligned with the shaft receiving aperture. The shaft extends a shaft length and at least some of the shaft passes through the central aperture and the shaft receiving aperture. The shaft terminates at a panel fitting end that is designed to engage with a panel.

The door is supported on hinge assemblies (20, 22) which enable mounting and accurately positioning the door despite misalignment of the hinges. One hinge assembly includes a pin (156) which has a ball (186) thereon. The pin is accepted into a larger bore (164) of the other hinge assembly despite axial misalignment of the hinge and bore. The bore has an adjusting screw (188) movably positioned therein which engages the ball when the hinge assemblies are connected. Movement of the adjusting screw enables adjusting the relative positions of the hinge assemblies. In making the secure enclosure one hinge assembly is attached to the chest while the other hinge assembly is attached to the door. The hinge assemblies are connected to movably mount the door on the enclosure. The hinges are adjusted so that dead bolt projections (150) on the door engage aperture (62) when the door is in a closing position.

The gate is mounted between the posts for rotation about the first post between positions closing the space between the posts and opening the space. A pivot assembly is mounted on the first post between one end of the gate and the first post, the pivot assembly comprising an outer rotatable housing tube and a stationary and vertically extending shaft. A stationary housing tube is mounted below and aligned with and for supporting the rotatable housing tube, the bottom annular edge of the rotatable housing tube and the top of the stationary tube being at a bias so that when the gate is opened it will rise. Gravity will close the gate when released.
