Abstract:
A door hinge includes a fixing member (10) fixed to a door frame (100), an actuation frame (20) fixed to a door (200) to enable the door to be opened and closed, a slider (22) coupled between the actuation frame and the fixing member, a rotatable moving guide plate (30) rotatably moved around the hinge (34) when the door is opened, and configured to forwardly push the slider, a guide roller (18) to resiliently support the rotatable movement of the rotatable moving guide plate, and a connection frame (60) having one end connected to a slot (11) of the fixing member by a pin (62) and the other end connected to the actuation frame by the hinge (24) and forwardly pushed out when the door is opened along with the slider.
Abstract:
A family of reversible hinges includes a strap hinge, a tee-hinge and a screw hook hinge. Each of the strap hinge, tee-hinge and screw hinge includes a universal strap leaf, a secondary strap leaf, a removable hinge pin and at least one bearing. The universal strap leaf is interchangeable between each of the strap hinge, the tee-hinge and the screw hook hinge, creating commonality amongst the family of reversible hinges, thereby reducing tooling costs and inventory levels associated with the family of reversible hinges. Further, the at least one bearing is manufactured from an acetal material to reduce hinge noise and prevent rust-lock.
Abstract:
A hinge for a hingedly movable sash in a window having a frame, including a track assembly having a track and a shoe engageable with the track and reciprocally movable along the track. The shoe presents a first rolling member at a first portion thereof and a bearing portion at a second portion. The shoe is shiftable between a window closed configuration in which the bearing portion contacts the track and transmits loads from the track to the sash arm and a window moving configuration in which the rolling member contacts the track and transmits loads from the track to the sash arm and rolls along the track as the shoe translates along the track.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly includes a shaft (12), a follower (16), a cam (18), and an urging means. The shaft has a screw portion (122) defined thereon. The follower has a first cam surface (164) formed on one end surface thereof. The cam has a second cam surface (184) formed on one end surface opposite to the follower. The cam has a screw hole (182) defined therethrough. The screw hole engages with the screw portion of the shaft. The urging means is configured for providing an urging force which moves the follower along the shaft and makes the first cam surface rotatably engage with the second cam surface of the cam.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly (100) includes a shaft (10), a follower (12), a cam (20), a friction-reducing mechanism (30), and an urging means. The shaft includes a securing portion (11) formed thereon. The follower is connected with the shaft. The cam essentially is in the shape of a cylinder, and includes a cam surface (24) and defines a cam hole (22) extending therethrough. The cam hole receives the shaft therethrough. The friction-reducing mechanism is located around the shaft, and includes a rolling means. A first end of the urging means abuts against the shaft, and an opposite second end of the urging means biases the friction-reducing mechanism. The friction-reducing mechanism is disposed between the cam and the urging means. The cam surface of the cam is rotatably and movably engaged with the follower under force of the urging means.

Abstract:
A hinge with a left-hand side flap plate and a right-hand side flap plate, each of which has no tubular portion for receiving a shaft bar. Each side flap plate has on its end at least one shaft plate having at least one communication hole and at least one semicircular locking hole. The semicircular holes come in contact with each other to form a circular portion when the shaft plates of the right and left flap plates are fitted together. In this circular portion a ball having a washer is fitted. The shaft plates, communication holes and the ball are covered with core shafts communicating with the opposite surface of the shaft plates. The core shafts are made of synthetic resin or die casting alloy.
Abstract:
A hinge for spectacles consists of two parts one of which one has a cam surface while the other part comprises a blind cylindrical housing in which are arranged at least one spring and one ball bearing, with the spring pushing the ball bearing against the cam surface. To avoid excessive wear of the cam surface and to facilitate the dismantling of the hinge, the hinge includes an intermediate part located in the housing between the ball bearing and the spring. The intermediate part provides less friction with the ball bearing than the friction between that ball bearing and the cam surface. The housing is provided with devices for retaining its contents which devices reduce the open cross section of the opening of the housing.
Abstract:
A gravity actuated hinged mounting for a door comprises two or more hinges which individually have the appearance of conventional butt hinges, but the several hinges in each mounting are individually different so that their respective pivot axes define the hinge axis of the door along a line which is inclined to the vertical. This result is accomplished by construction of the individual hinges to locate their respective knuckle portions in laterally spaced vertical planes and by constructing the complementary pivot members which connect each pair of knuckle portions to provide for relative rocking movement of the knuckle portions as the door swings on its inclined axis.
