摘要: The present invention relates to stabilizer composition for halogen-containing polymer. It has recently been found that tin-based thermal stabilizers with a bridging alkyl group between two tin centers are effective stabilizers while having effectively double the molecular weight of the corresponding non-alkyl bridged stabilizer. It is expected that ongoing experimentation will confirm that the alkyl bridged stabilizers have much lower volatility which leads to greater retention of the stabilizer in the finished article.

摘要: The present invention relates to an acrylic process aid useful in vinyl foam extrusion. The process aid is an acrylic copolymer containing from 50 to 79 weight percent of methyl methacrylate monomer units and has a Tg of less than 90° C., preferably less than 70° C., and more preferably less than 65° C. PVC and CPVC foams containing this acrylic process aid fuse faster at the same temperature, or fuse in the same time at lower temperatures than foam formulations currently used.

摘要: Compositions are described comprising at least one fluoropolymer, a solvent and an amino compound. The fluoropolymer comprises at least 90% by weight based on the total weight of the fluoropolymer of polymerized units derived from perfluorinated monomers selected from tetrafluoroethene (TFE) and one or more unsaturated perfluorinated alkyl ethers. The fluoropolymer typically comprises one or more cure sites, such as nitrile or halogenated cure sites. The solvent typically comprises a branched, partially fluorinated ether. In preferred embodiments the amine compound further comprises a silane group. Also described are methods of making the coating composition, methods of coating a substrate with UV and/or thermal curing, and the coated substrate.
