摘要: An elevator without counterweight, in which elevator the elevator car is guided by guide rails and suspended by means of diverting pulleys on hoisting ropes so that the elevator has rope portions of the hoisting ropes going upwards and downwards from the elevator car and a number of diverting pulleys in the upper and lower parts of the elevator shaft. The elevator has a drive machine placed in the elevator shaft and provided with a traction sheave. The elevator has a compensating device acting on the hoisting ropes for equalizing and/or compensating the rope tension and/or rope elongation. Diverting pulleys are mounted on the elevator car near two side walls, and the rope portions from the traction sheave, from the diverting pulleys in the lower part of the elevator shaft and from the diverting pulleys in the upper part of the elevator shaft to the diverting pulleys mounted on the elevator car extend in a substantially vertical direction, and the rope portions connecting the rope portions from one side of the elevator car to its other side are rope portions between the diverting pulleys mounted near different side walls on the elevator car.

摘要: A method of operating an elevator installation having an elevator control with a plurality of functions (F1, . . . Fn+m) for controlling the elevator installation, wherein the plurality of functions comprises at least one optional function (Fn+1, . . . Fn+m) which is activatable at the time of configuring of the elevator control and can be made available by an activation for control during the operation of the elevator installation. After the activation, a deactivation of the optional function (Fn+1, . . . Fn+m) takes place automatically in accordance with a predetermined criterion, wherein the optional function after deactivation is no longer available for control of the elevator installation in operation.

摘要: A method of lowering a lift cage is provided for a motorised lift that has a device for releasing a motor brake included in a drive motor, an actuator operated from the lift cage that from its initial position can drive the brake release mechanism to an active brake release position and back to its initial position, and a catching device that stops the lift cage in case its descent should exceed a predetermined speed limit. For efficient regulation and control of the lowering speed the actuator is arranged to respond to a periodically repeated measure by being moved in a previously defined operating cycle controlled by a signal processing system to an active brake releasing position and then back again to its initial position, and the time it takes for the operating movement of the actuator within the operating cycle can be adapted to the downward acceleration of the lift cage when the motor brakes are released so that it has time to return to its original position before the lift cage has exceeded the predetermined speed limit.

摘要: Moving ramp intended e.g. for transportation of people, comprising plates (10) supported by wheels, which are guided for movement at an upper level to form the loaded part of the moving ramp, and at a lower level which is substantially parallel with the upper level, to form the returning part of the moving ramp, adjacent plates in each part being close to each other. Stationary guides (16, 17) are provided as upper and lower runway tracks for the wheeled plates. The plates at the edges thereof are pivotally connected to endless chains (14) at one end of the plates the chains extending along the parts to be driven in one direction in the upper part and in the opposite direction in the lower part, a sprocket wheel (15) being provided for each chain (14) at each end thereof defining the distance between the parts. The other end of the plates is free for angular adjustment. For lowering and raising, respectively, the plates by engagement with the end of the plates which can be freely adjusted angularly, a rotating element (20, 22) driven synchronously with the sprocket wheel is provided at each end of the moving ramp. A number of drive stations for the endless chains are distributed along the length of the chains at least in the upper part thereof.

摘要: A method for automatic checking of the availability of an elevator installation having at least one elevator ascertains at least one first estimated value for a use frequency of the elevator for a first time period and/or a second estimated value for the use frequency for a second time period that begins later than the first time period. A measurement value for the use frequency for the first time period is determined and the measurement value compared with at least one of the estimated values. If the measurement value is smaller by a predetermined amount, at least one predetermined command for carrying out at least one test of the elevator installation is given, wherein in the case of availability of the elevator installation the test leads to a desired reaction. Subsequently, at least one reaction of the elevator installation is registered and compared with the desired reaction.

摘要: An elevator built in place of an earlier elevator in an elevator shaft or equivalent. In the elevator, the elevator car is suspendended by means of hoisting ropes consisting of a single rope or several parallel ropes. The elevator has a traction sheave which moves the elevator car by means of the hoisting ropes. The elevator has rope portions of the hoisting ropes going upwards and downwards from the elevator car, and the rope portions going upwards from the elevator car are under a first rope tension (T1) which is greater than a second rope tension (T2), which is the rope tension of the rope portions going downwards from the elevator car, and the elevator has been built in place of an earlier elevator mounted in the elevator shaft or equivalent or by making modifications in the earlier elevator.

摘要: A multiple-wound, three-phase, variable speed motor having N independent winding sets is driven by N inverters, each responding to 1/N of the torque and excitation current commands, and the torque current is limited as a function of N times the limiting current each inverter may tolerate, when all inverters are functioning. When M inverters fail, they are disconnected from the motor, the torque current is limited as function of N-M times the limiting current each inverter may tolerate. The remaining N-M inverters may each respond to 1/(N-M) of the torque and excitation commands. The excitation current may be maximized as (N-M) times the limiting current divided by the square root of two. The speed command may be predetermined by the integration over an acceleration interval, of the maximum acceleration achievable with torque available from those of the inverters which have not failed, in view of the inverters' current limits.
