The elevator system arranges first and second elevator cars in a single elevator hoistway, having, at a lower portion of each of the first and second elevator cars, respectively, a pair of undercar pulleys are positioned to turn ropes vertically on the outer sides of the first and second elevator cars and horizontally at the bottom, where the arranging direction of the pair of the under-car pulleys of the first elevator car intersects with the arranging direction of the pair of under-car pulleys of the second elevator car when projected onto a horizontal plane.

    摘要: The invention relates to an elevator arrangement, comprising a hoistway one or more vertically oriented guide rail lines in the hoistway for guiding vertical movement of one or more movable elevator units, and one or more movable elevator units mounted in the hoistway vertically movably along one or more guide rail lines, including at least an elevator car, preferably also a counterweight, and a hoisting roping; a movable support structure mounted in the hoistway for supporting said one or more movable elevator units below it via said hoisting roping, and a hoisting machine on the movable support structure for moving the hoisting roping, for thereby moving said one or more movable elevator units. Said movable support structure comprises a body portion, and a shelf structure projecting laterally from the body portion, and the hoisting machine is mounted on the shelf structure.     摘要: An elevator system (2) comprising a hoistway (4), an elevator car (6) and a counterweight (8) arranged to move within the hoistway (4). The system (2) further includes a first counterweight guide rail and a second counterweight guide rail arranged to guide the counterweight within the hoistway (4) and a guide rail bracket (32) which connects the first and second counterweight guide rails together. An elevator machine (10) is arranged to drive a tension member (14), which couples the elevator car (6) and counterweight together (8), to move the elevator car (6) within the hoistway (4). The system (2) further includes a friction reducing element (36) arranged on the guide rail bracket (32) such that if the tension member (14) moves towards the guide rail bracket (32) during operation of the elevator system (2), the tension member (14) contacts the friction reducing element (36).
