    摘要: An elevator system comprises at least two independently operable elevator cars in each of a plurality of elevator shafts within a building. The elevator system can include at least one first elevator shaft having a first and a second region, with the first region extending from a ground level to sub-ground levels, and with the second region extending from the ground level to a top floor. A first elevator car may move within the first region and a second elevator car may move within the second region, in the same shaft independently of each other.

    摘要: An elevator system (20) includes a plurality of cars (22) and destination entry devices (40) located some distance from the elevator cars (22). A controller (38) dispatches an elevator car to a requested destination entered by a passenger before the passenger enters an elevator car. In a disclosed example, the controller (38) uses an expected arrival time corresponding to the time it is expected to take for a passenger to travel from the location where the destination request is entered to the location of the elevator car to decide how to dispatch a car to service that request. In a disclosed example, the controller dispatches an elevator car to the requested destination on a next trip of that car if the expected arrival time of the passenger near that car occurs at or before the departure time for that next trip. Otherwise, the controller (38) dispatches the car to the requested destination on a subsequent trip after the next trip.

The computing unit issues at least one destination signal and controls the elevator installation by way of at least one device. The elevator group control apparatus includes: a traffic detection part (1B) which detects data of car traffic generated in a building; a zone setting part (1C) which sets a dedicated zone and a common zone for each of upper and lower cars in accordance with the results of detection of the traffic detection part; an assignment decision part (1D) which decides a car to be assigned to a call generated at a hall in accordance with a call generation floor, a direction of the call, and a zone set by the zone setting part; an entry determination part (1E) which, when one of two cars in each shaft is coming into the common zone from its dedicated zone, determines, based on the position, the direction of movement, and the state of the other car in the same shaft, whether the one car in each shaft is permitted to enter the common zone; a passing-by instruction part (1F) which gives a passing-by instruction to a prescribed floor in the dedicated zone so as to make each car exit from the common zone to its dedicated zone after each car has entered the common zone; and an operation control part (1G) which controls operation of each car based on the results from the assignment decision part, the entry determination part and the passing-by instruction part.

The terminal compares offers and books a selected one. The job managers are responsive to relevant changes in the situation upon which the plan is based for determining a changed actual travel sequence and associated changed offer.

    摘要: An elevator group supervisory control system includes individual car control units which individually control elevator units, hall control units which control hall equipment including hall call buttons provided on each floor, a group supervisory control unit which processes assignment of elevators based on hall information transmitted from the plurality of hall control units, and a communication control unit having an independent power supply for each individual car control unit, the communication control unit being connected with a corresponding individual car control unit, a corresponding hall control unit, and the group a supervisory control unit for, data communications. The transmission paths of the communication control units and the group supervisory control unit are connected with each other through buses to constitute the elevator group supervisory control system. Thus, communications between the hall control units and the group supervisory control unit become effective even if the individual car control units are down, as a result of which it becomes unnecessary to connect the hall call buttons with the hall control units for backup purposes, simplifying arrangement of connections.
