摘要: A thruster system for improved steering and maneuverability of a marine vessel when operating at relatively low, or wakeless speeds, such as in the vicinity of docks, swimmers or other obstacles, or when trailering, beaching or mooring. The thruster system has a modularized design adapted to independently control separate motor/propeller units located at various positions on the vessel's hull. Each propeller of the modular thruster motor system has its own relatively small, electric motor and mounting bracket, permitting each motor to be separately mounted to a location on the hull of the marine vessel apart from other thruster motors. The thruster system is further enhanced by an electrical control system for controlling each modular thruster motor system of the thruster system. In some embodiments, a charging system is provided that permits each electrical control system to be separately charged from the marine vessel's main battery.

摘要: A drive unit for propulsion and trim control of a marine vessel. The drive unit extends in use from the vessel along a vertical axis to a base plane normal to the vertical axis, and spanned by orthogonal longitudinal and lateral axes. The drive unit includes a first propulsion unit and a second propulsion unit arranged separated along the lateral axis and intersected by the base plane. The first propulsion unit and the second propulsion unit are jointly rotatable about the vertical axis, where the first propulsion unit and the second propulsion unit are individually rotatable about the lateral axis.

摘要: A method of controlling propulsion of a marine vessel includes limiting user input authority over propulsion output by at least one propulsion device based on proximity measurements so as to maintain the marine vessel at least a buffer distance from any object, where in the buffer distance is a predefined distance around the marine vessel. After a user-generated instruction is received to suspend maintenance of the buffer distance and a user control input is received to move the marine vessel in the direction of the object, the at least one propulsion device is controlled based on the user control input such that the marine vessel approaches and impacts the object.

摘要: A wearable water shoe apparatus for walking, standing and jet siding on water, includes in each of a first water shoe and a second water shoe (i) a sleeve to receive a leg of a user and (ii) a bottom section, The sleeve has a platform for standing thereon. Each pair of a plurality of pairs of jet motors is configured to eject a jet stream of water. A stabilization unit, including a tilt sensor and a plurality of gyroscopes, is configured to detect a stabilization state of at least one of the first water shoe and second water shoe. A processing unit is configured to receive output from the stabilization unit, determine a direction of movement indicated by the user and direct at least one of the pairs of motors to eject a water stream out of at least one of the water shoes based on the indicated direction.

摘要: A monolithic attitude control motor frame includes a monolithic structure including an outer surface of revolution and a plurality of side walls defining a plurality of cavities extending radially from the outer surface of revolution. Adjacent cavities of the plurality of cavities share a side wall or side wall portion therebetween. Each of the cavities is configured to receive an attitude control motor. A monolithic attitude control motor system includes a monolithic frame including an outer surface of revolution and a plurality of side walls defining a plurality of cavities extending radially from the outer surface of revolution. The system further includes a plurality of attitude control motors corresponding to the plurality of cavities, such that an attitude control motor of the plurality of attitude control motors is disposed in each cavity of the plurality of cavities.

摘要: An improvement for inboard motor boats has a rigid exhaust conduit, a miniature rudder, and a rudder control system. The rigid conduit is provided for conduction of combustion gases exhaust outside the hull and has an aft facing outlet. The miniature rudder is pivotably mounted on the rigid conduit relative the aft facing outlet whereby combustion gases exhaust past the rudder. The rudder control system has a user interface inside the boat and has a control mechanism pivoting the rudder in response to inputs to the user interface.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for enhancing steering control of a personal watercraft. An electrically actuated device is coupled to the steering system of the personal watercraft and applies torque to the steering system. At least one sensor is positioned adjacent the steering system and generates operational data of the personal watercraft. At least one controller is coupled to the electrically actuated device and the at least one sensor, and is configured to determine a first torque to apply to the steering system based on the operational data responsive to a second torque being applied to the steering system. The at least one controller is further configured to operate the electrically actuated device to apply the first torque to the steering system for providing enhanced steering control of the personal watercraft, with the first torque being applied only by the electrically actuated device.

摘要: A system for manoeuvring a boat with fenders is described. A plurality of water nozzles is provided on the boat. Further, a plurality of pumps is operated by an artificial intelligence module and/or control unit and powered by the power source 130 of the boat. The plurality of pumps is primed continuously to reduce response time to control the plurality of pumps and each of the plurality of pumps is connected to one water nozzle. A plurality of sensors is configured to monitor the state of motion of the boat. Further, an artificial intelligence module is in communication with the plurality of water nozzles, the plurality of pumps, and the plurality of sensors. The artificial intelligence module is configured to keep the boat in a stationary standstill or on a chosen course of motion.

摘要: A propulsion system on a marine vessel includes at least one steerable propulsion device and at least one lateral thruster. A steering wheel is mechanically connected to and operable by a user to steer the at least one propulsion device. A user interface device is operable by a user to provide at least a lateral thrust command to command lateral movement and a rotational thrust command to command rotational movement of the vessel. A controller is configured to determine a difference between a steering position of the propulsion device and a centered steering position. A user interface display is controllable to indicate at least one of the steering position of the propulsion device and the difference between the steering position and the centered steering position. The controller is further configured to determine that the steering position is within a threshold range of the centered steering position.
