    摘要: In a firing angle control system for a converting device for an AC electric motor-vehicle fed with AC electric power and having, as its main electric motor, a DC electric motor, the converting device including a main rectifier connected to the armature and a field rectifier connected to the field winding, an abrupt change in the AC voltage of the converting device is detected and, upon such detection, a main rectifier voltage target signal is corrected to compensate for a difference in the rate of change between the armature current and the field current which would occur if the correction were not made.

    摘要: A power converter control apparatus comprising continuously controlled converter units and on-off controlled converter units for effecting powering control and regenerative braking control of a DC motor, which is arranged to include a unit change circuit for generating unit changing operation signals in response to a command for instructing the number of the converter units to be rendered operative from a master controllerand conduction phase signals from a phase shifter. In accordance with the unit changing operation signals, the conduction phase signals from the phase shifter are applied as a gate signal to the continuously controlled converter units in response to a powering control or a regenerative braking command, while a minimum conduction phase signal is applied as a gate signal to the on-off controlled converter units in response to a powering control command signal and a maximum conduction phase signal including a commutation marginal angle in response to a regenerative braking command signal. On the other hand, the gate signals supplied to the continuously controlled converter units may be temporarily cut off by a gate cut-off circuit and at the same time the conduction phase in the output of the phase shifter may be restored.

    摘要: A method and system include determining a resonant frequency of a vehicle system operably coupled with an external power source that provides voltage and current to the vehicle system. A first filter extracts a phase or a frequency component from the voltage provided by the external power source to generate a stabilizing voltage component. A second filter extracts a phase or a frequency component from the current provided by the external power source to generate a stabilizing current component. The stabilizing voltage component is out of phase with the stabilizing current component. A control input of a converter device of the vehicle system is determined based on the stabilizing voltage component, the stabilizing current component, and the resonant frequency. The stabilizing voltage component, the stabilizing current component, and the control input are communicated with the converter device to change the resonant frequency of the vehicle system.

    摘要: Tap changing apparatus including a plurality of electrical inductive windings, each having an intermediate tap which divides each winding into two sections with the voltage of one section being twice that of the other section. Gate-controlled electronic switches, disposed between the ends and the intermediate tap of each winding and each of two output terminals, are selectively triggered to form a conductive path which will cause either or both sectons of each tapped winding to be connected into a circuit so that it will aid, oppose or bypass the circuit. The switching sequences provide a full range of positive to negative output voltage magnitudes for each winding in incremental unit steps.
