The vibration polishing unit includes a vibration polishing bath, the vibration polishing bath is internally provided with a clamp for clamping the blisk, and vibration motors for driving the vibration polishing bath to vibrate are installed on the vibration polishing bath. Top ends of support springs are fixedly connected with the vibration polishing bath, and bottom ends of the support springs are fixedly connected with a workbench. The water jet strengthening unit includes a water jet strengthening device for carrying out water jet strengthening on the blades of the blisk and a driving mechanism for clamping the water jet strengthening device and capable of driving the water jet strengthening device to move in any direction in space.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for smoothing a surface of a component, in which a component is placed in a liquid-solids mixture; a relative movement is produced between the liquid-solids mixture and the component; thus there is a flow of the liquid-solids mixture along the surface; wherein there is provided in the liquid-solids mixture a guide surface, along which the liquid-solids mixture flows, wherein a directional component toward the surface is imposed on the flow.
Abstract:
A controllable magnetic field-assisted finishing apparatus for an inner surface and a finishing method are provided. The apparatus includes a housing, ball screw mechanisms, a workpiece, a centering clamp, a connecting plate, a magnetic field generating device, a chuck clamp, a precise displacement platform and a base. The magnetic field generating device includes electromagnetic coils, coil connecting plates, a magnetic yoke, nuts, springs and bolts. The magnetic field generating device dynamically adjusts a distance from the magnetic yoke to the outer surface of the workpiece through the springs. The movement tracks of the magnetic finishing medium are controlled by the formed rotation of the magnetic field, the finishing action force dynamic-adjustment, the optimization of the machining form of the magnetic finishing medium in collaboration with the rotation of the chuck clamp and the feed movement of the precise displacement platform.
Abstract:
A method of masking a component includes installing a flexible gasket over a portion of a component masking area leaving an unmasked area exposed. A backer is installed over the flexible gasket to compress the flexible gasket between the backer and the portion. The flexible gasket and the backer are secured to the component to provide an assembly. The assembly is deposited into a slurry with an abrasive media to polish the unmasked area, in one example. The flexible gasket and backer prevent abrasive media from reaching the masked area. The flexible gasket and backer can be removed from the component and reused on other similarly shaped components.
Abstract:
An example component polishing method includes polishing a component protecting portions of the component during the polishing using a barrier spaced from the component. The barrier is configured to move together with the component during the polishing.
Abstract:
A surface-treating process and a forming process in which an inner surface of a vacuum member is mechanically polished in the presence of a liquid medium including no hydrogen atom.
Abstract:
A tumbler for tumbling concrete products comprises a rotatable cylindrical drum having an input end that is slightly elevated relative to an output end. Tire retread strips are placed side-by-side on the radially inner surface of the drum and extend along its length. Clamps having lateral arms extending on either side are engaged with lateral tread grooves on the strips. The clamps are bolted to the drum between adjacent strips thereby securing the strips to the radially inner surface of the drum.
Abstract:
A vibratory finishing machine for the surface finishing of workpieces comprising an essentially spiral trough, having a plurality of channels in side-by-side relationship, resiliently mounted for vibration and tilted with respect to the horizontal; such a spiral trough which is employed as a finishing chamber by attachment to a resiliently-mounted vibratory structure of a vibratory finishing machine; and a method and apparatus for vibratorily finishing a workpiece by subjecting it to a surface finishing medium in such a trough, having liquid finishing medium in only lower sections thereof and having solid finishing medium in an outer channel of said trough, are disclosed.
Abstract:
A vibratory container for flocculating waste water obtained upon vibratory abrasive finishing or the like, having an outlet and a feed connection which continues into a feed channel which extends into the inside of the container and is arranged in siphon-like manner with respect to the outlet pipe. For improved treatment of even chemically complex working liquids, the inside of the container is subdivided by partition walls into a plurality of chambers arranged one downstream of the other in the direction of flow. Connections are associated with the first two chambers arranged downstream of the feed channel within the initial region of the flow. The connections serve to introduce flocculation preparation chemicals, while a final connection is provided for the addition of the flocculating agent.
Abstract:
A vibratory finishing machine includes a supporting frame, a processing tub, and a tub vibrating mechanism interposed between the frame and the tub. Workpieces and finishing media are introduced into the tub for processing, are vibrated to effect a finishing action, and are discharged from the tub through a discharge opening. The discharge opening is selectively opened and closed by a door structure which is not mounted on the tub for vibratory movement therewith as is conventional, but which is, instead, supported independently of the tub so that the tub vibrates relative to the door during finishing operations. The door is biased toward its closed position and is provided with a power-operated mechanism for moving it toward its open position. In the event of power failure, the biased door will move toward its closed position to prevent workpieces and finishing media from emptying from the tub.
