摘要： A tilting table device includes a first rotary member which is rotated by a rotation amount equivalent to that of a tilt shaft when rotation of the tilt shaft is transmitted; a second rotary member which has an axis parallel to that of the first rotary member and is rotated by a rotation amount equivalent to or substantially equivalent to that of the first rotary member in a direction opposite to that of the first rotary member when the rotation of the first rotary member is transmitted; two retaining members respectively provided at the first and second rotary members, in which when the center of gravity of a table is located at an uppermost position or a lowermost position, the retaining members are located on or near a line connecting rotation centers of the first and second rotary members, the retaining members are located at equivalent or substantially equivalent distances respectively from the rotation centers, both the retaining members are provided inside or outside the two rotation centers; and an urging device which causes a constant urging force to be applied between the two retaining members so as to reduce a torque applied to the tilt shaft by movement of the center of gravity from the uppermost position or the lowermost position as a result of the rotation of the tilt shaft.

The tensile force irregularity is canceled out when a controller controls an auxiliary motor.

摘要： Process for welding a weld-in part in a weld point comprising a metal plate and a metal covering lying thereon with two tools of which one is formed by a welding head and the other by a drill for preparing the weld point by a drilling process. The drill attached to a revolving device initially in one operating position, by means of a lifting motor which can be moved in a controlled manner between a return position and a machining end-position and vice versa, performs the process at least until the metal plate is drilled (machining end-position) in preparation of the weld point. By pivoting of the revolving device, a welding head arranged on the revolving device and equipped with the weld-in part is then brought into an operating position above the prepared weld point to perform welding, meanwhile the drill is coupled to the lifting motor when the welding head is coupled to the lifting motor when the drill is uncoupled to perform welding on completion of the drilling process. Drill and the welding head are each set aside in their return position on a rest shoulder after pivoting of the revolving device, the welding head being equipped with a weld-in part in the rest position and the revolving device pivoting the drill or the welding head into the respective operating position from the rest position.

摘要： In a machine tool having cooperating first and second slides slidably with respect to one another, an improved way damper has a damper plate carried by the first slide in slidable engagement with the second slide, and the plate is retained so as to permit slight movement of the plate in a normal direction to the movement of the first and second slides. A sealed damping chamber is formed between the damper plate and the first slide, having a viscous medium within the chamber which effects squeeze film damping as the damper plate and first slide undergo relative vibratory motion. An alternate embodiment employs a visco-elastic medium in the damping chamber to effect damping.
