摘要: A concave-convex metal plate of a floor heating system according to the present disclosure includes repeatedly bent concave and convex portions to transmit a load from an upper portion of a finishing material to a floor slab. Because the concave-convex metal plate includes the repeatedly bent concave and convex portions, resistance to the load from the upper portion is significantly improved, thus functioning as a floor structural material that may sufficiently withstand the load, while transferring the load from the upper portion of the finishing material to the floor slab.

Pitch and height difference between valley portion (5) and crest portion (6) in the corrugated cross-sectional shape along this X-direction are smaller, as compared with a relationship between projection row (2) and recess row (3) in the corrugated cross-sectional shape along Y-direction. The corrugated metal plate of such shape has advantages that machining for making cross-sectional shapes in two directions of X and Y into wave shapes is easy and that the flexural rigidity difference between two direction of X and Y is extremely small.

摘要: A method of producing a flow field plate for a fuel cell comprises over-profiling relief features in a die set to more accurately reproduce the intended flow channel features in the pressed plate. The process includes determining a target relief profile of features extending across the plate along at least a first dimension of the plate, modulating the relief profile with an over-profiling parameter, as a function of the first dimension; forming a die with the modulated relief profile; and pressing a flow field plate using the die with modulated relief profile to thereby produce the unmodulated, target relief profile in the flow field plate.

摘要: A system and method of increasing a dwell time in a foil stamping press is provided. The dwell time is readily adjusted on the fly by the user for a given operating rate. A timer is used to adjust the press to stop on top dead center with changes in images per hour. An air clutch and an original equipment air brake are used in tandem to provide the desired dwell time. A pair of timers governs a pneumatic switch for control of the air clutch and the air brake. The present system and method increase die image area capacity as compared to conventional foil stamping presses. The increased dwell time press yields a flawless foil stamped image for an impression pressure less than that required in a conventional machine for a given die, mounted at a given height upon a stationary platen, and at a given temperature.
