摘要: A method of expanding an elongated and at least regionally planar metal element that has two respective marginal regions oppositely disposed and extending in a longitudinal direction and a central region arranged therebetween and including cuts, the marginal regions of the metal element are moved apart transversely to the longitudinal direction and in parallel with a planar extent of the metal element such that connection portions of the central region formed by the cuts and connecting the two respective marginal regions to one another are folded, the method includes displacing the two respective marginal regions with respect to one another transversely to the planar extent of the metal element to form a displaced state, and subsequently moving apart the two respective marginal regions in the displaced state.

Each of the deck components includes one or more folded ribs formed along the length of the metal deck. 摘要: A system of structural interlocking panels for forming disaster-resistant buildings, comprising: a hollow, internally-braced, vacuum-insulated panel shell having at least two interlocking sides, the first side having a convex-inward single-curvature, the second side having a straight surface, the third side having a straight surface with at least one integral tongue with at least one head extending vertically-upward for receiving a complementary groove of a first side of an adjacent panel. Panels are thus vertically slide-locked along panel sides and faces, thereby triggering automatic snap joints that prevent backward movement of the panel. The system can assemble spheres, cylinders, toroids, tetrahedrons, flat shapes, and irregular shapes.

摘要: An anchor holder for concrete decks comprises a body for being inserted into an opening in a metal deck, the body including an outside vertical wall and an opening for receiving an anchor. The body includes arms normally biased extending outwardly from the vertical wall, the arms being collapsible toward the body when the body is inserted into the opening in the metal deck and expanding outwardly after passing the opening to be disposed below the metal deck. A support is attached to the body, the support to engage a top surface of the metal deck to apply an upward force on the body and keep the collapsible arms engaged against an underside of the metal deck when the body is attached to the metal deck.
