摘要: A Taylor cone emitter device repository is disclosed including a repository plate, a repository wall extending therefrom, and an array of orifices and an array of clocking feature interfaces disposed therein. The array of orifices receives and retains an array of Taylor cone emitter devices. The array of clocking feature interfaces guide clocking features of the array of Taylor cone emitter devices into predetermined radial orientations. The repository wall peripherally surrounds a substrate chamber configured to receive a microtiter array tray with the array of solid phase microextraction devices each disposed within a separate well of the microtiter array tray. A Taylor cone emitter device repository system is disclosed including the microtiter array tray, the array of Taylor cone emitter devices, and the Taylor cone emitter device repository system. A method for analyzing a population of samples with the Taylor cone emitter device repository system is disclosed.

The inventive formulation has exceptional flexibility over a wide range of temperatures. It is comprised of polyvinyl chloride, a plasticizer, a stabilizer, preferably a pigment, and a UV inhibitor/light stabilizer. The formulation is applied to a substrate and then cured by exposing it to an elevated temperature.

In some embodiments, the on-actuator reservoir that is used for metering droplets includes a loading port, a liquid storage zone, a droplet metering zone, and a droplet dispensing zone. 摘要: A device and method for emitting an electrospray of ionized particles is disclosed, comprising a reservoir, an emitter in communication with the reservoir and having openings, wherein the openings are configured to permit release of the liquid media therefrom in response to a dynamic magnetic field; and an element for generating a dynamic magnetic field that runs through the emitter. The element may comprise two orthogonal Helmholtz coil pairs. In another example embodiment, an electrospray thruster is disclosed. The electrospray thruster may comprise: a reservoir for accommodating a volume of liquid media capable of being ionized; an emitter grid comprising a plurality of emitters, wherein each emitter of the plurality of emitters is in communication with the reservoir and comprises an opening disposed therethrough; and an element for causing the liquid media to be ionized from the emitter by a dynamic magnetic field.
