With the decompression steps (III) to (VI), a complete removal of residual portions of condensed distillate at the inlet connection (71) of the intermediate valve (7) and in the condenser (5) of the rotary evaporator (1) can be accomplished. The rotary evaporator (1) has an electronic control module (9) which is designed and programmed to automatically carry out the decompression steps and other process steps with the rotary evaporator (1).

    摘要: A system for reclaiming contaminated water from a cooling tower in a power generation system includes a contaminant collection heat exchanger that receives a supply of extraction steam from the power generation system, and to receive and concentrate contaminants in the contaminated water by boiling the contaminated water and producing process steam using thermal energy from the extraction steam. A concentrate condensation device receives and further concentrates the contaminants collected in the contaminant collection heat exchanger. A process, heating, condensing and/or electrical generation subsystem receives the process steam from the contaminant collection heat exchanger.

    摘要: An apparatus for vaporizing and recovering, by condensation, a composite mixture of at least two components, at least one of which is a liquid. The apparatus includes at least one chamber in which the mixture is brought to boiling and includes means to condense the vaporized portion of the mixtures. A liquid of the mixture in the vaporizing chamber is vaporized by heating coils and subjected to circulation to uniformly disperse the mixture. The apparatus may further include a system for continuously filtering the mixture in the vaporizing chamber to remove undesirable particulates, a mixture spray device for spraying the mixture into the vaporizing chamber, and an ultrasonic vibrating means.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for converting a long tube vertical evaporator to a falling film evaporator in a manner which permits salvaging most of the long tube vertical evaporator structure. The bottom chamber of the existing evaporator is extended to define a flash chamber intermediate the existing heat exchanger chamber and the bottom chamber. A vapor riser conduit is provided for directing vapor from the flash chamber to the vapor separation chamber positioned above the heat exchanger chamber. A recirculation conduit is provided for directing liquid from the bottom chamber therethrough into a distribution chamber which is provided above and in communication with the upper ends of the heat exchange tubes positioned in the heat exchanger chamber. The distribution chamber is preferably provided with a plurality of spray nozzles which communicate with the recirculation conduit to evenly distribute a film of liquid downwardly through the heat exchange tubes.
