摘要: An agricultural harvester has a frame and a spout that is movably mounted relative to the frame. A spout actuator drives movement of the spout relative to the frame based on a spout actuator control signal. Harvesting functionality engages material from a field and delivers the material through an outlet end of the spout as the agricultural harvester moves through the field in a direction of travel. A turn identifier identifies a location of a turn forward of the agricultural harvester in the direction of travel and generates a turn location indicator indicative of the location of the turn. A speed detector detects a speed of the agricultural harvester and generates a speed indicator indicative of the detected speed. A position compensation control system generates spout position compensation information for controlling the spout actuator based on the turn location indicator and the speed indicator, and a spout position controller generates the spout actuator control signal to control the spout actuator based on the spout position compensation information.

摘要: A residue vision system includes an image acquisition device configured for mounting to a harvesting machine. The image acquisition device is configured to acquire, during operation of the harvesting machine, information regarding a first pass in a field. The first pass is a harvested area of the field. During the operation, the first pass is laterally offset from a second pass in the field. An electronic control unit is in communication with the image acquisition device and with a residue distribution system. The residue distribution system is configured to be coupled to the harvesting machine to distribute residue onto the second pass and onto the first pass. The electronic control unit is configured to analyze the information acquired by the image acquisition device and to adjust a distribution of residue onto the first pass while the harvesting machine is harvesting the second pass.

摘要: An adjustment apparatus for a forage harvester having a shear bar adjustably mounted on a housing. A chopper drum is supported from the housing and mounted for rotation about an axis and further provided with a plurality of circumferentially spaced knife supports to which at least one chopper knife can be adjustably secured. In use the chopper knives cooperate with the shear bar to chop incoming crop. The adjustment apparatus includes a lateral element, at least one location element and at least one radially inwardly directed guide surface, each radially inwardly directed guide surface describing a desired outer path of an unworn chopper knife. Each guide surface is adjustably located with respect to the lateral element.

摘要: A forage harvester cracker unit comprising a first cracker roller, a second cracker roller, a base frame comprising left and right hand side elements, the first cracker roller being mounted on the base frame to be rotatable about a fixed central axis extending between the left and right hand side elements of the base frame and a secondary frame comprising left and right hand side elements, the second cracker roller being mounted on the secondary frame to be rotatable about a central axis extending between the left and right hand side elements of the secondary frame is disclosed. The forage harvester cracker unit further comprises a pivot axis extending through the base frame and the secondary frame, the secondary frame being adjustable about the pivot axis to enable variation of a separation of the first and second cracker rollers, a biasing element acting between the base frame and the secondary frame to urge the second cracker roller towards the first cracker roller and a drive element acting against the biasing element to hold the secondary frame in position against the biasing element to maintain a minimum separation of the first and second cracker rollers.
