The monitoring system also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the load sensor. The controller includes a memory and a processor, and the controller is configured to receive the sensor signal from the load sensor and to determine a crop load of crops acting on the tines based on the mechanism load.

A pressurized air delivery system for assisting grain crop harvesting. The system includes a left hand side manifold and a right hand side manifold adapted for being mounted to a harvester header. Each manifold is connected to a plurality of nozzles disposed along the respective manifold. Each manifold is adapted for receiving a pressurized air flow at a first end thereof and for providing the pressurized air flow to the nozzles. Each manifold is closed at a second opposite end thereof. The left hand side manifold and the right hand side manifold span approximately from a left hand side of the harvester header to a right hand side of the harvester header. An air flow source provides the pressurized air flow. An air conduit is connected to: the air flow source; the first end of the left hand side manifold; and the first end of the right hand side manifold. The air conduit comprises a divider for: receiving the pressurized air flow from the air flow fan; dividing the pressurized air flow; and providing the divided pressurized air flow to the left hand side manifold and the right hand side manifold.

The reeling pan shafts are installed in parallel on the frame rod through bearing seats. The adjacent reeling pan shafts are in transmission connection, and at least one reeling pan shaft is in transmission connection with the power device. An inner part of any reeling pan shaft penetrates the tandem shafts. Both ends of the tandem shafts are supported on the frame rods, and one end of the tandem shafts is fixed on the tandem shaft bearing seats. The reeling pans are mounted on any reeling pan shaft.

The reel comprises a plurality of finger-bearing reel bats disposed evenly around the reel shaft, each rotatably attached through the distal ends of radial arms extending outwardly from the reel shaft. A cam disc is attached to the frame and engages each reel bat by a cam follower, to provide rotational movement of the reel bats relative to the radial arms, during rotation of the shaft in the operating position. The cam has at least one operating position, and a transport position in which the engaged reel bats will be pivoted into transport mode that substantially reduces the risk of damage to the fingers.

A tine for use with a harvester. The tine is preferably an injection molded polymer pickup reel tine, which uses a front-to-rear mold parting line direction. The tine preferably has a snap ring or strap portion which is configured to engage a bat tube, as well as a finger portion which is configured to engage the crop during harvesting. Preferably, the front-to-rear parting line is along both portions. The front-to-rear parting line allows for the ability to provide a deep front-to-rear cross section for rigidity at the high stress area of the tine. Two front-to-rear material saving features can be utilized to minimize material usage and allow for relative consistent wall thickness, which results in a rigid cross section that maintains deflection stability in the normal direction of deflection. The preferred form of the tine cross section includes three deep oval sections or projections, connected by two oval depressions, but other variations are entirely possible while still resulting in effectively the same benefits.

A harvesting header bat having a channel for removably receiving alternating quick-release fingers and spacers is provided. The spacers are capable of production in different lengths to support different applications of the harvesting header. The quick-release finger is provided with projections configured for mating with flanges at the channel opening, enabling the finger to be inserted into the channel in a first orientation and then rotated into a second orientation to engage the flanges and releasably lock the finger in place. The spacers are also configured to engage the flanges of the channel and may be provided in different lengths where a particular harvesting header application requires a certain distance between fingers on the bat.
