    摘要: A safety cabinet includes an enclosure and at least one door to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet can be used to store, for example, flammable liquids, flammable waste, corrosives, pesticides, or combustible waste. The safety cabinet incorporates a thermally-actuated damper that includes a body, a valve plate, and a pivot assembly. The valve plate is disposed within the passage of the body such that the valve plate is movable between an open position and a closed position. The pivot assembly includes a biasing system adapted to bias the valve plate to the closed position and a fusible link interconnected between the body and the biasing system to constrain the valve plate from moving from the open position to the closed position. The fusible link is configured to melt at a predetermined temperature to thereby allow the biasing system to move the valve plate to the closed position.

    摘要: A double door coordinator includes a release mechanism mounted in a body fixed in a door frame. A restraining mechanism is operably connected to the release mechanism. An actuation mechanism is pivotably connected to the body, is restrained by the restraining mechanism, and includes a buffering spring. When the inactive door is in a non-closed position, the restraining mechanism restrains the actuation mechanism to prevent the active door from pivoting to the closed position. When the inactive door is in the closed position, the release mechanism actuates the restraining mechanism to a position not hindering movement of the actuation mechanism, permitting the active door to pivot to the closed position. When the active door pivots towards the closed position under action of a large force, the buffering spring absorbs a portion of the large force to reduce damage to the double door coordinator and the active door.

    摘要: The invention relates to a drive arrangement for the motorized adjustment of a flap arrangement for a motor vehicle, with a drive controller for producing a desired flap adjustment by means of at least one drive, wherein the flap arrangement is configured with two flap wings, wherein the two flap wings are each substantially pivotable about a respective spaced-apart, parallel pivot axis and, in the closed state, are in engagement with each other via a respective free wing end opposite the respective pivot axis. The two flap wings are assigned collision pivoting regions which are mounted upstream of the respective closed position and in which the movement regions of the flap wings overlap in such a manner that a predetermined opening and closing sequence has to be observed there in order to avoid collisions between the free wing ends.

    摘要: A mine door system including a door frame to be installed in a mine passageway to define a generally rectangular doorway. A mine door is defined by a pair of generally rectangular door leafs which are hinged on the door frame at opposite sides of the doorway for swinging between an open position to permit passage through the doorway and a closed position in which the door leafs are generally coplanar and close the doorway. The door leafs are so dimensioned that there is a substantial vertical gap between the door leafs when they are closed to accommodate convergence of side walls of the passageway. A relatively wide vertical sealing flap is secured to one of the door leafs for overlapping a face of the other door leaf when the door is closed for covering the gap between the door leafs. A power mechanism for opening and closing the door leafs is operable to control the sequence in which the door leafs close so that the door leaf carrying the sealing flap closes after the other door leaf for ensuring that the sealing flap closes against the face of the other door leaf.

    摘要: A door closure arrangement is provided for a paint cabinet or like enclosure containing combustible materials. Right and left hand doors are hinged to door jambs in the cabinet's opening and an overlapping lip is provided on one of the doors to insure that no gap between the doors exists when the doors are closed. Door closures, held in an open position by temperature sensitive fusible links, rotate the doors from an open to a closed position should a fire melt the fusible links. A spring biased, lever actuated door sequencing mechanism insures that the doors closed in proper sequence without interference from the overlapping lip. A spring biased, lever actuated mechanism automatically latches or locks the doors when they are rotated into the closed position whereby the adverse effects of the fire on the contents of the cabinet are minimized.

    摘要: A window regulator mechanism adapted to lower or raise a window panel into and out of a window well between vehicle body panels, the window panel being vertically divided into separately movable ventilation and visibility sections. With the window panel in raised condition, the mechanism first may be actuated to lower the ventilation section into the window well to provide a ventilation exhaust opening in the vehicle body and then, if desired, further actuated to lower the visibility section into the window well. From a lowered condition, the sequence of movements to raise the panel sections is reversed. The window regulator mechanism comprises a pair of window regulator arms coupled respectively to the ventilation and visibility sections of the window panel. The regulator arms are also coupled to a gear sector of the window regulator mechanism through cam slot and follower systems. The cam slot and follower system for the ventilation section is programmed so that upon rotation of the gear sector through a first phase of movement in window opening direction the ventilation section is lowered to a predetermined position. During further or second phase rotation of the gear sector, the follower moves in a lost motion section of the cam slot without causing further lowering movement of the ventilation section. The cam slot and follower system for the visibility section is programmed so that during first phase movement of the gear sector, i.e., movement causing lowering of the ventilation section, a latch plate means pivoted on the visibility section regulator arm engages a keeper device to hold the visibility section regulator arm against movement, the follower on the gear sector passing through a lost motion section of a cam slot in the latch plate means. Upon further or second phase movement of the gear sector, the follower is aligned with a section of the cam slot that permits the latch plate means to shift from keeper engaging position to a position in which the gear sector and regulator arm are locked to each other for up and down movement of the visibility section.
