摘要： Self-closing safety gate embodiments are disclosed herein. The self-closing safety gates include a hinge plate configured to rotate about a vertical support member and engage a hoop portion. In some embodiments, the hinge plate includes at least one support arm portion with a channel. In such embodiments, the channel can be configured to receive and frictionally engage a hoop arm of the hoop portion with a compressive fastener. In some embodiments, the self-closing safety gate can be damped.

A spring device can move the first and second fitting portions into a closed position and/or into an open position relative to each other. A portion, preferably an end portion, of the spring device is supported on a support element, and the support element supporting the spring device is rotationally mounted, preferably on the hinge lever.

摘要： A door closer including: a body defining a chamber therein; a piston slidably supported within the chamber, and dividing the chamber into first and second cavities either side of the piston, which in use receive liquid; a biasing device for biasing the piston towards the first cavity; a passageway connecting the first cavity to the second cavity for permitting the flow of fluid therebetween; a blocking member for controlling the flow of liquid through the passageway between the cavities; a moveable member moveable between first and second positions, wherein when the moveable member is in its first position the moveable member causes or permits the blocking member to assume a blocking position, thus preventing or at least inhibiting the flow of liquid from the first to the second cavity, and wherein when the moveable member is in its second position the moveable member causes or permits the blocking member to assume a non-blocking position, thus permitting the flow of liquid from the first to the second cavity; and a permanent magnet positioned adjacent or close to the moveable member for holding the moveable member in its first position; wherein the door closer includes a pole switching device that can produce a magnetic field that is in opposition to the magnetic field of the permanent magnet to effectively cancel out or overcome the magnetic field of the permanent magnet and produce a net magnetic field that is either zero or in the opposite direction to the magnetic field of the permanent magnet so as to effect movement of the moveable member between its first and second positions.

摘要： An apparatus for adjusting the force in a door operator or closer comprises an elongated housing and a spring therein connected to the door operator or closer. A spring collar is non-rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the housing and adapted to move linearly within the housing. A fixed adjusting screw extends along a longitudinal axis of the housing and the spring collar is slidable linearly along an outer surface of the adjusting screw. A nut is threadably engaged at a distal end of the adjusting screw and is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the screw, the nut bearing on the spring collar during rotation. The spring collar bears on a distal end of the spring to vary the spring compression and thereby vary force applied by the door operator or closer. The housing has an opening in a sidewall through which the spring is visible, and the housing exterior surface includes markings indicating the degree of spring compression. An indicator is moveable along and visible from the exterior of the housing to indicate the compression of the spring.

The oven further includes a frame coupled to and at least partially surrounding the oven chamber. The oven further includes a door operable to seal the front opening of the oven chamber, and a pair of hinges pivotally coupling the door to the frame. Each hinge is positioned on opposing sides of the oven chamber. The oven further includes a pair counterweights that are each coupled to the rear portion of a respective hinge, and a pair of dampers. Each damper is coupled to the frame and operable to resist movement of the door in a single direction opposite that of the other damper.
