摘要: The present disclosure provides a ratooning rice harvesting header and a harvester including the same. The ratooning rice harvesting header includes a multi-layer adjustable disc cutter, a header, and an ear cutter. The multi-layer adjustable disc cutter is mounted below the header and located below a rear portion of the ear cutter. The ear cutter is mounted at a front end of the header. The multi-layer adjustable disc cutter includes at least one group of multi-layer disc cutting assemblies. Each group of multi-layer disc cutting assemblies includes two multi-layer disc cutting assemblies. Each of the multi-layer disc cutting assemblies includes three layers of vertically arranged blades. The use of the multi-layer adjustable disc cutter in cooperation with the ear cutter can reduce the straw-grain ratio of the part cut from the crops to reduce the power consumption of the harvester.

摘要: An agricultural header for use with an agricultural harvester includes a header frame, a first row unit having a first row unit frame coupled to the header frame, and a second row unit having a second row unit frame coupled to the header frame. The header also includes a casting body coupled to the first row unit frame, a sensing unit of a stalk-diameter sensing system including a frame portion and a stalk feeler deflectably coupled to the sensing unit, and a point assembly pivotally coupled to the header frame. The point assembly at least partially covers the sensing unit. A crossbar member includes a first portion and a second portion with the first portion being pivotally coupled to the casting body to pivot about a first pivot axis. The crossbar member is pivotable about the first pivot axis between a first position and a second position.

摘要: A crop stripper rotor includes a plurality of stripper teeth sections and backer plates secured to a central core by threaded fasteners. The stripper teeth sections have stripper teeth that project radially outwardly from a mounting base, and the backer plates have teeth that fit behind the stripper teeth. The stripper teeth sections and backer plates are sandwiched between opposing flanges of adjacent bent sheet metal sections of the central core. An alignment and mounting system includes a pair of alignment slots in each stripper teeth section and backer plate that open radially inwardly. A first pair of threaded fasteners mate with the alignment slots to set the depth and alignment of the stripper teeth sections and backer plates relative to the central core. A second pair of threaded fasteners are inserted through the aligned mounting bores of the stripper teeth sections and the backer plates to complete the assembly.

摘要: One or more information maps are obtained by an agricultural work machine. The one or more information maps map one or more agricultural characteristic values at different geographic locations of a field. An in-situ sensor on the agricultural work machine senses an agricultural characteristic as the agricultural work machine moves through the field. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts a predictive agricultural characteristic at different locations in the field based on a relationship between the values in the one or more information maps and the agricultural characteristic sensed by the in-situ sensor. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.

The motor is an electrically powered motor or a hydraulically powered motor. The motor is coupled to the beater roll such that the motor is configured to rotate the beater roll without rotating the drive shaft.
