    摘要: A flow though heater device comprising a fluid tube carrying a fluid to be heated, a tubular heating element extending at least partially parallel and in thermal contact with the fluid tube, wherein the tubular heating element comprises a profiled casing tube and at least one heating coil mounted in a tubular portion of said profiled casing tube. The profiled casing tube further comprises at least one tab portion laterally protruding from the tubular portion and being wrapped around the fluid tube, wherein the assembly of the fluid tube and the tubular heating element has an approximately helical shape so that the tubular portion of the casing tube is positioned with respect to the helix radially inside of the fluid tube.

    摘要: A heat sink, and cooled electronic structure and cooled electronic apparatus utilizing the heat sink, are provided. The heat sink is fabricated of a thermally conductive structure which includes one or more coolant-carrying channels and one or more vapor-condensing channels. A membrane is disposed between the coolant-carrying channel(s) and the vapor-condensing channel(s). The membrane includes at least one vapor-permeable region, at least a portion of which overlies a portion of the coolant-carrying channel(s) and facilitates removal of vapor from the coolant-carrying channel(s) to the vapor-condensing channel(s). The heat sink further includes one or more coolant inlets coupled to provide a first liquid coolant flow to the coolant-carrying channel(s), and a second liquid coolant flow to condense vapor within the vapor-condensing channel(s).

Each zone defines an airflow section of the heat exchanger that receives a portion of the airflow through the heat exchanger. A first tube of continuous construction is coupled to an inlet port and to an outlet port and forms a first refrigerant circuit spanning three or more passes from the first end to the second end. The first refrigerant circuit passes between at least two zones of the plurality of zones. A second tube of continuous construction is coupled to the inlet port and to the outlet port and forms a second refrigerant circuit spanning three or more passes from the first end to the second end. The second refrigerant circuit passes between the at least two zones of the plurality of zones.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a heat sink of a large area, in which a heat-dissipating body is further provided in its limited space. The method for manufacturing a fin includes the steps of providing a fin, cutting the fin to form a foldable piece thereon, folding back the foldable piece to be overlapped on the fin and form an accommodating hole, and punching the folded piece and the fin to form two overlapped through-holes. The fin, the heat-dissipating body and heat pipes are assembled together to obtain the heat sink. Since the fins and the heat-dissipating body dissipate the heat of a heat-generating element simultaneously, the heat-dissipating efficiency of the heat sink can be improved.

    摘要: Systems and methods for improving heat exchangers by implementing self-energizing seals. In one embodiment, a U-tube heat exchanger includes a shell enclosure, a tube sheet, a closure and a set of tubes welded to the tube sheet. The tube sheet separates first and second chambers from a third chamber in the shell enclosure. The closure seals the first and second chambers. Each tube extends from the first chamber, through the third chamber to the second chamber. The improvement comprises a seal between the shell enclosure and either the closure or the tube sheet. The seal includes conically tapered sealing surfaces on the shell enclosure and closure or tube sheet which form a wedge-shaped gap. A seal ring having surfaces complementary to the sealing surfaces of the shell enclosure and closure or tube sheet is positioned between the sealing surfaces to form a self-energized seal.
