Abstract: Methods and apparatus to generate audience measurement data from population sample data having incomplete demographic classifications are disclosed. An example method includes detecting that a number of impressions a time segment of a video occurred based on messages; detecting that no impressions for the time segment of the video were detected by the database proprietor; determining respective percentages of exposures of the video that are attributable to corresponding ones of multiple demographic groups, determining the respective percentages being based on the first demographic information provided by the database proprietor for exposures of other time segments of the video; attributing respective portions of the number of impressions to the demographic groups based on the respective percentages to determine imputed numbers of impressions; generating adjusted numbers of impressions based on the imputed numbers of impressions; and determining ratings information for the video using the adjusted numbers of impressions.

Abstract: A distributed computing system is provided, including a server executing a mobility service, and a first computing device executing a first hypervisor implementing a first mobility client configured to detect an attachment of a virtual machine to the first hypervisor, and a second computing device executing a second hypervisor implementing a second mobility client configured to detect an attachment of the virtual machine to the second hypervisor, and send a message to the first computing device indicating the attachment of the virtual machine to the second hypervisor. The first mobility client is further configured to store network routing information indicating a network location of the virtual machine, receive network traffic for the virtual machine, and forward the network traffic to the second hypervisor based on the stored network routing information.

Abstract: A method in which a communication device can be configured with a MAC address so that when the user logs into a network environment using a communication device from among a number of communication devices a MAC address is assigned to the user and is specific to the user. The MAC address assignment can be used for pairing with a communication device assigned to the user (e.g. a near-field communication device). A database containing MAC addresses can be connected to communication devices through a network and can provide user-specific MAC addresses that are readable into or otherwise transmittable to a predetermined communication device when a user logs into the network. The database can be managed by a server or other computer device of the network.

Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for service and/or application specific underlay path selection in fabric access networks. An egress tunnel router (ETR) registers service requirements of a connected application server, e.g., an end point known by host/device detection, config, or CDC type protocols, to a fabric control plane, e.g., a map server/map resolver (MSMR). The fabric control plane, while replying to a map request from an ingress tunnel router (ITR), sends service parameters in the map reply. While installing a tunnel forwarding path in hardware, i.e., map cache, the ITR may utilize a probing mechanism to ensure that the ITR chooses the right underlay adjacency, e.g., routing locator(s) (RLOC(s)), that can satisfy the service requirements provided by the fabric control plane. Only RLOC(s) that comply with the service requirements are installed in the map cache along with the required service parameters.
