    摘要: A powerline communications device comprises a powerline communications interface and at least one other communications interface configured to communicate over a computing network. The powerline communications interface is further configured to receive electrical power. The computing network may comprise mediums including powerlines, telephone lines, and/or coaxial cables. In some embodiments, the powerline communications interface may communicate with a network apparatus, such as a personal computer, via an Ethernet interface. The powerline interface, the telephone line interface, and/or the coaxial cable interface may all be associated with the same media access control (MAC) address. The powerline communications device may receive a message via a first medium and repeat the message via a second medium based on a quality of service (QoS) metric. In some embodiments, the powerline communications device may communicate using multiple frequency bands.

In this instance, the PLC optical network unit does not require a PLC protocol conversion of an Ethernet signal by a cable modem and a PLC modem in each subscriber location, and enables a PLC communication between the each subscriber location and a communication terminal utilizing a PLC Ethernet signal as is, by receiving an optical signal from an optical transmitter via an optical fiber, converting the optical signal into the PLC Ethernet signal corresponding to a predetermined PLC protocol, and transmitting the PLC Ethernet signal to at least one subscriber location via a coaxial cable.

    摘要: In a communication apparatus has a line control unit that controls connection with a communication line network, a communication unit transmits/receives data through the communication line network. A detection circuit detects one of a line voltage value and a line current value when the communication apparatus is connected to the line network. A memory unit stores multiple voltage-current characteristic curves defining relationships of line voltage values with respect to line current values satisfying a predetermined standard. An adjusting unit adjusts the line voltage value and the line current value so as to satisfy the predetermined standard based on one of the voltage-current characteristic curves stored in the memory unit. A selecting unit selects another voltage-current characteristic curve different from the one of the voltage-current characteristic curves from among the multiple voltage-current characteristic curves stored in the memory unit. A re-adjusting unit adjusts one of the line voltage and a line current.
