    摘要: The disclosure relates to a method performed by a wireless device, for receiving system information from a network node of a wireless communication system. The system information is received in a synchronization signal (SS) block of an SS burst set comprising at least one SS block. The system information is multiplexed with information providing a time index indicating which SS block of the SS burst set that is being received. The method comprises receiving the information providing the time index, and receiving the system information, which comprises descrambling the system information using a scrambling sequence generated based on the information providing the time index. The method also comprises determining an accuracy of the information providing the time index, based on an error-detection code related to the received system information. The disclosure also relates to corresponding network node method and apparatus.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a receiving device, a receiving method, and a program that can reduce power consumption. A Viterbi decoding unit performs Viterbi decoding on a likelihood as a processing target, a byte de-interleaver delays a part of a decoding result of Viterbi decoding, and an RS decoding unit performs RS decoding on the decoding result after delaying by the byte de-interleaver. A likelihood converting unit controls decoding of the likelihood to improve reliability of the decoding result. Then, when all of a predetermined number of decoding results by the RS decoding unit are succeeded or failed, the decode stop determination unit determines to stop subsequent decoding on the likelihood as a processing target. The present technology may be applied to, for example, a receiving device that receives digital terrestrial broadcasting compatible with the ISDB-T standard, or the like.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for efficient demapping of constellations are described. In an embodiment, these methods may be implemented within a digital communications receiver, such as a Digital Terrestrial Television receiver. The method reduces the number of distance metric calculations which are required to calculate soft information in the demapper by locating the closest constellation point to the received symbol. This closest constellation point is identified based on a comparison of distance metrics which are calculated parallel to either the I- or Q-axis. The number of distance metric calculations may be reduced still further by identifying a local minimum constellation point for each bit in the received symbol and these constellation points are identified using a similar method to the closest constellation point. Where the system uses rotated constellations, the received symbol may be unrotated before any constellation points are identified.
