    Abstract: A coil electrode of a coil component includes a plurality of lower wiring patterns arranged on a lower surface of an insulating layer; a plurality of upper wiring patterns arranged on an upper surface of the insulating layer; a plurality of inner conductors disposed at an inner peripheral side of the coil core, each inner conductor connecting one end of the corresponding one of the lower wiring patterns and one end of a corresponding one of the upper wiring patterns forming the pair with the lower wiring pattern; and a plurality of outer conductors disposed at an outer peripheral side of the coil core, each outer conductor connecting the other end of the corresponding one of the lower wiring patterns and the other end of the corresponding one of the upper wiring patterns adjacent to an upper wiring pattern forming the pair with the lower wiring pattern.

    Abstract: A modular toroidal transformer core cap system, including a plurality of cap segments, wherein each respective cap segment further includes first and second spaced elongated wall members, first and second connector members connected to the respective first and second elongated wall members, and a generally flat panel member connected to and extending between the first and second elongated wall members. The first and second wall members are disposed at a predetermined angle relative one another and the first and second elongated wall members and the panel member are electrically nonconducting. An integral number of cap segments may be joined together to define an annular core cap.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device and to a method for winding toroidal cores without using a magazine, comprising a toroidal-core retainer and comprising elements that are substantially arranged in a wire-guiding plane and that serve to guide and to magazine wire. The device comprises: a first transport roller and a second transport roller, which are arranged in relation to the toroidal-core retainer in such a way that a wire to be magazined on the transport rollers in the wire-guiding plane and to be wound can be guided between the first and the second transport roller through the toroidal core; a wire ejector arranged adjacently to the second transport roller; and a wire tensioner.
