Abstract: Apparatus and method relating generally to electronics are disclosed. In one such an apparatus, a film assembly has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface. A dielectric film of the film assembly has a structured profile along the upper surface or the lower surface for having alternating ridges and grooves in a corrugated section in an at rest state of the film assembly. Conductive traces of the film assembly conform to the upper surface or the lower surface in or on the dielectric film in the corrugated section.

Abstract: A drive-sense module for an RGB light emitting diode (LED) touch-sense panel includes light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to emit light of different wavelengths and light blocking spacers configured to block light horizontal light detection between LEDs. The drive-sense module includes a plurality of LED touch sensors and a plurality of difference detection circuits, each LED touch sensor is coupled to one of the plurality of LEDs and configured to generate a signal representative of light detected by the LED in the first mode and a signal representative of light emitted by the LED in the second mode. A drive-sense circuit (DSC) is configured to forward bias the LED in the transmit mode and reverse bias the LED in the receive mode and a data output circuit is configured to generate a digital representation of light intensity of the current that is generated by the DSC.

Abstract: In an imaging device, a difference calculation unit calculates a differential signal between charge signals that have been accumulated and are held by first and charge holding units with different timings. A multiple sampling unit performs multiple sampling processing on the differential signal, and an analog digital conversion unit converts a signal that has undergone multiple sampling processing to a digital signal. That is, multiple sampling processing is performed on a differential signal with a higher sparsity than that of an image signal.

For example, alternative interface presentations may be generated to allow a blind, deaf, low-vision, or color blind user to more easily understand and interact with the user interface.

Abstract: A communications cable is disclosed. The cable includes a first circuit configured to receive electrical data signals from a data source via an input connector, and convert the electrical data signals into optical signals for transmission by way of one or more optical fibers. The cable includes a second circuit configured to convert the optical signals received via the one or more optical fibers back to electrical data signals for providing to a data sink via an output connector. The cable includes a third circuit for applying pre- and post-signal conditioning to bi-directional control data for transmission to and received from the data sink via wires. The cable includes a fourth circuit for applying pre- and post-signal conditioning to bi-directional control data for transmission to and received from the data source via wires. The pre- and post-signal conditioning compensate for capacitance and/or resistance effects on the signals introduced by the wires.

Abstract: A driving mode switching method, a driving mode switching module and a display device are provided. The method comprises: acquiring a pre-processed reference image; identifying an image characteristic of the reference image; generating a color block set included in the reference image by dividing the reference image into color blocks in accordance with the identification of the image characteristic of the reference image; calculating a coupling voltage of each of the color blocks and a brightness difference corresponding to the coupling voltage in accordance with an order of the color blocks included in the color block set; determining a crosstalk in accordance with the brightness difference corresponding to the coupling voltage; and switching a driving mode in accordance with the crosstalk. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, since the driving mode can be switched, it is possible to prevent the display from being prone to crosstalk due to being constantly arranged to the column inversion mode, the row inversion mode or the frame inversion mode, or a display abnormality that may occur due to being arranged to the dot inversion driving.
