摘要: An imaging system for synchronizing rolling shutter and global shutter sensors is disclosed herein. An example imaging system includes an illumination source configured to emit illumination lasting a predetermined period, a first imaging sensor, and a second imaging sensor. The first imaging sensor is configured to capture first image data representative of an environment appearing within a field of view (FOV) of the first imaging sensor during a first period that overlaps at least partially with the predetermined period, and the first imaging sensor operates as a global shutter imaging sensor. The second imaging sensor is configured to capture second image data representative of an environment appearing within a FOV of the second imaging sensor during a second period that overlaps at least partially with the predetermined period and is different from the first period, and the second imaging sensor operates as a rolling shutter imaging sensor.

摘要: Method and systems for driving an aiming assembly of a barcode imager are provided. An example method includes obtaining an operating mode of the barcode imager having an aiming assembly and, in response, determining a duty cycle of an aiming pulse of the aiming assembly. That duty cycle is determined as a percentage of a frame duration of an imager sensor and, further, such that simultaneous constraints are satisfied by the aiming pulse. The constraints include a simultaneous frame duration-independent, peak pulse optical power constraint and a frame duration-dependent heat dissipation constraint.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for positioning an object with respect to a target location, such as for auto-focusing. One implementation includes a positioning device, which includes a reference object having a plurality of dark-shaded bars arranged in parallel with and separated from each other by spaces equal to a width of each of the bars. The positioning device also includes a motor configured to move in a reciprocating manner and a sensor configured to sense at least one of the bars or spaces. The motor is connected to the reference object or the sensor and moves the reference object or sensor with respect to the other. The motor is configured to stop at a target location in two phases of motion.

摘要: A semantic note taking system and method for collecting information, enriching the information, and/or binding the information to services is provided. User-created notes are enriched with labels, context traits, and relevant data to minimize friction in the note-taking process. In other words, the present invention is directed to collecting unscripted data, adding more meaning and use out of the data, and binding the data to services. Mutable and late-binding to services is also provided to allow private thoughts to be published to a myriad of different applications and services in a manner compatible with how thoughts are processed in the brain. User interfaces and semantic skins are also provided to derive meaning out of notes without requiring a great deal of user input. Linking physical objects to notes are also provided, such as through QR codes.
