摘要: A combined gradient coil and shim coil assembly for use in MR-devices, comprising a cylindric carrier tube, a gradient coil system arranged concentrically onto the carrier tube, a cooling tube assembly positioned around the gradient coils, and an active shim coil system, is characterized in that the active shim coil system is constructed on a flexible printed circuit board, and the assembly further comprises a sealing compound with a fluid reaction resin augmented with a heat conductive filler enclosing the components of the assembly to form a cylindrical tube and filling the cavities of the gradient and the shim coil systems and between the coils and the carrier tube. Such a combined gradient and shim coil assembly is particularly compact having an efficient cooling system allowing a precise positioning of the coils and a time-saving manufacturing.

摘要: A sensor device including a semiconductor substrate having an excitation circuit and a sensing circuit for measuring a magneto-impedance effect of a soft-magnetic component arranged on top of the semiconductor substrate. The soft-magnetic component is operatively connected to the excitation circuit and the sensing circuit, and is electrically connected to at least one of the excitation circuit and the sensing circuit by means of back contacts or side contacts. The soft-magnetic component has an elongated shape or an elongated portion extending in a first direction parallel to the semiconductor substrate; a processing circuit connected to the sensing circuit, and configured for providing a signal indicative of the measured impedance or a value derived therefrom. A method is provided for producing such a semiconductor substrate.

摘要: A circuit for sensing the driving current of a motor, the circuit comprising: a driver configured to generate a driving current for each phase of a multiple-phase motor, the instantaneous sum of all the driving currents being zero; a current sensor for each phase of the multiple-phase motor, each current sensor configured to measure the driving current of that phase and comprising a plurality of current sensor elements arranged with respect to each other such that each current sensor element has the same magnitude of driving current systematic error due to magnetic fields external to the driving current to be measured; and a controller configured to, for each phase of the multiple-phase motor, generate an estimate of the driving current of that phase to be the measured driving current of that phase minus 1/n of the total of the measured driving currents for all phases, n being the number of phases of the multiple-phase motor.
