    摘要: A moving object command link system includes a transmitter which outputs a EM beam and a steering mechanism which directs the beam toward one or more objects, at least one of which is moving. The system may include a variable attenuator which modulates the average output power of the beam, and/or a divergence controller to maintain a desired beam size. The beam may be polarized, and the system may include a polarization modulator which changes the beam's polarization in accordance with a predetermined sequence and schedule. The system may include a 1×2 switch to selectively provide the beam to one of first and second outputs. A tiltable dichroic beam splitter may be used to couple beams received from first and second objects to track cameras having respective boresights that are offset with respect to each other.

    摘要: The invention relates to antenna elements for the UHF and VHF range for antennas of an airborne vehicle with empennage parts. These antenna elements are integrated into the empennage parts (L) which are made of a dielectric material and are configured in such a way that they radiate directionally broadband in flight direction. The empennage parts are made, for example, of ceramic, and the antenna elements are embedded therein or are applied to their surface. The antenna elements (A) are preferably expanding Vivaldi-type slot radiators that are halved along their axis of symmetry and use the airborne vehicle (F) as an electrical mirror. Arranging the antenna elements in the area of the rudder maximizes both the aperture and the distance between the phase centers of the individual elements, but no additional volume is required for the antennas.

    摘要: A microcomputer with a modem is programmed with information for controlling a flight control computer on a missile. The microcomputer is carried on an aircraft from which the missile is controlled. The pilot of the aircraft has a keypad for setting the target coordinates in the microcomputer. The audio signals from the microcomputer modem are fed to the voice communications system of the aircraft so as to modulate the carrier of the transmitted signal. This signal is received by the receiver on the missile and demodulated and employed to control signals for the missile in the missile flight control computer. The pilot of the aircraft sets in target coordinates for the missile on a keypad connected to the microcomputer.

    摘要: A space-based command guidance controller and controlled deliverable traveling at speeds of about Mach five are cooperative to cause the deliverable to follow a coherent designator beam controlled by the space-based command guidance controller to be delivered to a target location, eventually designated by the beam along an over-the-horizon trajectory, and into a target thereat with surgical-like precision. The command guidance controller includes an optical tracker and coherent designator laser assembly and an inertially-stabilized tracker that are cooperative to produce a command guidance signal representative of that controlled deliverable maneuver that enables the controlled deliverable, upon the execution thereof, to conform its trajectory to the intended trajectory, and eventually, to impact the intended target. The controlled deliverable includes an autopilot that executes the maneuver represented by the command guidance signal in order to bring the controlled deliverable into local conformance to the intended trajectory. The controlled deliverable includes an optical roll sensor having a negligible scale-factor-error. The intended target location may include a static and/or a dynamic target object.

    摘要: The interface arrangement is provided for data transfer between a carrier aircraft and a missile which is to be launched from the carrier aircraft and which includes a target seeking head. The missile is connected to the carrier aircraft through a connecting cable which contains a small number of wires sufficient for transferring analog data and which is detachable upon launch. For selectively operating the carrier aircraft in conjunction with a missile which is equipped with either (i) a target seeking head producing analog target deviation data or (ii) a image processing target seeking head, at least two interfaces are connected to the connecting cable. One of the interfaces is designed for data transfer via the connecting cable to and from the target seeking head producing analog target deviation data. An other one of the interfaces is designed for data transfer via the connecting cable to and from a image processing target seeking head. A controller enables selective connection of the connecting cable to either one of the two interfaces. The controller responds to identifying signals signalling the type of target seeking head and automatically activating a respective one of the interfaces.
